I've been keeping track of my gaming time for a while now. I thought I'd use it to reign myself in a bit, but it just stokes the fires further.
Chris Plays Games & Android Emulation On PC

Good morning Pixlpeeps! I am back outside typing away and I have to admit that I do like this setup especially in the morning. I have tunes, fresh air, my little loud iPad keyboard and the iPad. Can’t go wrong. Yesterday I had plans to play and continue to go through NFS Payback but things got in the way and well we’ll go over that in a bit. Let’s get started.
Chris Plays...
NCAA Football 14 - PS3
I finished my first season with the Duke Blue Devils and finished 11-2 with a Chick-Fil-A Bowl win over Vanderbilt. The Devils lost to Virginia Tech and in state rival North Carolina. Both games came down to the last play of the game. Va Tech ended with an interception and UNC ended with my TE at UNC’s 5 yard line. I figured after a solid season I would get offers from other schools but many were smaller schools so I stuck with Duke for Season 2. So far the Devils are 2-0 and the pass happy offense is putting a ton of points on the board against East Carolina and Kansas.
NFS: Payback - PS4
My glorious plan for the weekend was to knock out most of the game so I can move onto the other games I installed last week. Instead I got caught up in college football. I finished most of the second group of racers I have faced only leaving the driving missions around the town with the female character. I really didn’t care enough about the story to learn the character names or the names of the cities but I know the woman character drives around the city, and that’s where I am at.
I do like the upgrading cars and tweaking the cosmetics. I guess I have to perform some tasks like hitting a number of jumps before I can unlock other goodies but that will come in time. For now I need to finish the game. It’s not like I don’t like the game but after a certain point of doing the same thing can become stale and I then search for other things to do.
WWE SuperCard - iOS
My team isn’t doing much...again. Last Team Battle we had I was the only one who maxed out their cards and scored 99% of the points. Because of me we earned the minor reward. It would be nice if they actually played but whatever. I’m doing it at this point for me and my deck. I’m skipping on the next event because the it’s an event where you battle and after hitting a certain point score you unlock a card. Since the cards at the beginning are trash it’s not worth the playtime. The team can do this and unlock cards, and I’ll gladly accept whatever cards are unlocked.
Randoms:
-Since my PS4 and external drive is working I’m debating on doing the same for the XBox 360. I think I might be able to actually copy the entire game to the hard drive, which would make it a whole lot easier to play.
-iOS has a feature now that at the end of the week it gives you a run down of where your time is spent on the device. On my phone I only spent and hour on games with almost four hours on Social Media (thanks Reddit and Twitter). On the iPad I spent close to 14 hours on games and 5 hours on Social Media. WWE SuperCard took up the most time at 7 hours 21 minutes, with Sea Of Squares coming in at 6 hours 29 minutes.
-Later on today I am going to install an Android emulator on my laptop. I had Bluestacks before which worked ok, but it was a drain on resources but I found another app that should be better and doesn’t use as much resources as Bluestacks. I’m thinking that if I can get games to work well I could open up another area of games I can try. If I get an Android phone I could save battery because most of the gaming would be done there and well I just want to play endless runners on a bigger screen (and maybe actual Android exclusive games). More on this next week.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. Have a good week!
That’s all for now, more later!
-Chris
*Odd thing is that when I went to post from my iPad the insert buttons in the Word Document option on Pixlbit disappear.
