I just got off the phone with a scam caller and apparently when you ask them “Who Hurt You” they get really angry. It was met with an F You, and a hang up, but at least I got a laugh out of it. Good morning Pixlpeeps! Does trolling scam callers count as playing a game?

So my gaming this past week really wasn’t a lot of games because well you read my frustration turned excitement going on last Friday and well the weekend was a lot of me trying to get everything back to a point where everything is usable. When not doing that I’ve been re-ripping my CDs and well that in itself is a crazy task because I have way too many albums but I like to think of it as a good problem, but finding album covers is a pain, more on that this Friday. Anyways let’s talk for a bit:

 

Chris’ Rambles About Stuff, Kinda Game Related….

-Halloween is this Wednesday because that makes sense. I’m thinking about dressing up once again as a Luchador Cowboy with my Cowboys Luchador mask, and a Cowboys jersey. I’m thinking Joey Galloway because you just don’t see those jerseys roaming around. To the 10 kids who will show up at the door, ask your folks who Joey is.

-I’m thinking about buying Stardew Valley on the iPad. It seems like a game that I might get into. The chore part maybe, but I do like the idea of designing a farm. Hopefully I’ll like it, people on Reddit like it, but they also like Civ V and I thought that game wasn’t fun when I tried the demo on the iPad. I figure $7 isn’t bad but we’ll see.

-In my SuperCard group another member spoke up about the lack of interest in playing team events and finally the majority of the team actually worked on their decks for today’s Team Battle. Again I’m the only one who maxed out everything but to be fair the other folks did earn points and that’s all that counts. I just like maxing out all my cards so I don’t have to worry.

-In my football game Duke finished with a 12-1 record with a win over Auburn in the Chic-fil-a Bowl. The Blue Devils finished in a three way tie for first in their division with Georgia Tech, and Miami. Duke beat GT, GT beat Miami, and Miami beat Duke, but since GT was higher ranked at the end of the season they got to play in the Championship game and ultimately won the BCS National Title. The question is now do I leave Duke or stay for year three.

-Since my laptop is working again, I’m going to install that Android Emulator later on today and play some Android games. I’m thinking about some racing games or getting back into Injustice 2.

-More laptop stuff, I lost my game saves for some of my Steam games so I’m slowly getting back into some games I was making good progress in like Ridge Racer Unbounded.

-Target is having their Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale on games again, and I’m thinking about getting that new Lego Villains game with the Lego Incredibles game as my freebie. You would think getting it for the PS4 would be the better choice because trophies and better graphics, but I like the Switch. Actually I should get Lego Villains and Mario Hat (no idea what the current Super Mario game is called). Lego is $75 for the deluxe (I’m assuming it has everything) and Mario Hat is $44, so for the two games and whatever freebie I choose it should be $40. Actually thinking about it now, I’m going to pass. That’s a lot of money on three games.

 

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. There’s a bunch of blogs here I need to read/catch up on so that’s what I’m going to do as I rip CDs. Have a good week!
