You don’t need to play the first red dead at all. In fact, this one is a prequel.
Twitter is the fetid asshole of the universe, man.

I've written a rough draft of My Brother Rabbit and I think it's short enough that a video review shouldn't take TOO long, so I think I'll buy a proper mic to record with, edit some footage together and all that tomorrow and hopefully post a review by Wednesday.
In other news, the Twitter usage by other people on this site continues to baffle me. To me, it's just a toxic waste dump of politics, pompous "my opinion is the right one" hot takes on media, and just a bunch of people bickering or getting on their high horse in general. I guess you're all following fun things I'm not to find it enjoyable. I tried to rectify this by following the Nihilist Arby's account, because some quotes from a Game Grumps compilation I was watching made me chuckle, but its last tweet was in 2017. Oh well.
Anyway, I'm still playing the Castlevania Requiem collection on PS4. I vastly prefer having the game with a full size screen instead of just a box in the middle and I changed the background because the defualt looked like part of the levels I was playing too often. At least now I can better see what I'm doing. I'm still preferring Rondo of Blood to SotN for now, though I'm finding Richter easier to control and getting farther with him than Maria, which is the opposite of common wisdom about this game.
I plan to pick up Life is Strange 2 at some point, and I still want to play Detroit and the new Tomb Raider.
Is Red Dead Redemption 2 a direct sequel to the original, or could I play it without knowing the story? I'm close to breaking down and just getting it.
How are y'all?
I've never used Twitter. My life is not that interesting enough to post updates on it.
My review of My Brother Rabbit will post next week.
I just finished my review of Heavy Burger. Man that was an awesome game. I'm glad I got to review it. I'm also chipping away at LEGO DC Super Villains for review. Today I got a review code for Save Me, Mr. Tako, which plays like a classic Game Boy game, and it's pretty good so far.
I just heard Game Informer podcasters talking about how cool it was to have the younger version of the main character in Red Dead 1 in 2. I heard his name once when I played 2, but I didn't really notice who it was. I haven't played the first game even though I've heard a lot about it. Other than being able to talk to that character, there doesn't seem to be anything important from Red Dead 1 in 2.
I got into Twitter for like a day and then forgot about it, again. I have like one real life friend on there, but I get his posts on Facebook anyway. Eh, I might look at it again sometime to see what Pixlbit people are saying. It'll be like my mobile version of Facebook, I guess, another site I don't spend that much time with, but is sometimes interesting.
I spend way too much time on Facebook posting jokes. It's an easier format for me to get used to and I have several friends who appreciate my humor. Too bad Twitter just doesn't seem to go the same way for me. Mostly, I just get contrarian responses to anything I say. Oh well.
Well, shit. You people are not good for my wallet with your "Red Dead 2 can be played without playing 1" nonsense.
Twitter can be fun, and can be annoying. When it gets annoying I avoid it for a bit and just go on Reddit and watch the random animal videos and read funny stories. My usual rule is if trending is a lot of politics I stay away, if it has topics of people doing stupid stuff, I'm reading.
I'm still waiting for Red Dead 2. Heck I might start up the PS3 Red Dead and see what the fuss is all about. I figure once I finish it the 2nd game will probably be on sale.
