Games Beaten
November was a very busy month in real life and I didn't get any games finished. It didn't help that I spent most of what time I had with Destiny 2 and Breath of the Wild. (And as you can see by how long it has taken me to get this recap up, December has continued the trend.)
Games Bought
My wife downloaded Nine Parchments on the Switch for us to play but we haven't had a chance to touch it yet. For Black Friday we picked up The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, all for the PS4, each for $15. I hadn't planned on getting any of those but man, $15! We also got Starlink: Battle for Atlas for the Switch—gotta have that sweet Arwing!—and Super Bomberman R, also for the Switch. Those had pretty big discounts as well. That was basically all for me. Earlier in the month, though, we downloaded Pokémon Rumble U (Wii U) for our boys and they played a gob ton of that. Then my wife bought herself Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! (Switch), which she happens to be playing right now as I type this. PS+ was lighter this month for me. I was always intrigued by Bulletstorm (PS4) and this is the Full Clip Edition, whatever that means exactly. I also got Burly Men at Sea (PS4/Vita), some sort of minimalist story game, and Roundabout (PS4/Vita), a game I probably would have skipped on without Julian's recommendation on Nerds Without Pants.
Now Playing
-The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
I beat the third Divine Beast! Just one more to go before I can fight Ganon. I had hoped to finish this game by the end of the year but that seems less and less likely all the time. There is just so much game here!
-Destiny 2 (PS4)
More new content just dropped this week for this game. Destiny has kept me busy and I still feel behind of where I'd like to be.
-Earth Defense Force 2025 (PS3) (PS+)
Cleaning up the last few missions on Hardest for the Ranger. I need more armor!
