If only 3DS was cheap enough I could justify it right now. I am not monied at the moment.

Blog a Day #14
Hello everyone, how are you? I love the 3DS. I love that I can play a lot of new (at the time) 3DS games and it has the bonus of playing DS games as well. I have spent countless hours on the system playing a lot of different games. I love it. I have bought a lot of 3DS games over the years but there are games that I'm still missing on it if you can believe that. Chalk it up due to buying something else or simply waiting to see if the game goes on sale. Some of these games are old and some are quite recent. Here are the games that I'm looking to fill in the gaps in my 3DS game library...
Paper Mario: Sticker Star: We are starting this list off with what is considered the worst of the Paper Mario games. I was really excited for this game when they first showed it off at E3 many years ago. They even had a trailer you could download on your 3DS and you could make use of the 3D Effects, which looked really cool. Remember that? The game eventually released and everyone pretty much agreed that it sucked. The game is unfortunately out of print now so finding a new copy at a decent price is going to be a challenge.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes: Apparently this is a direct sequel to the amazing A Link Between Worlds. But I want to know how is it exactly a sequel to that? I played a demo they had for it years ago and I really had fun playing online with strangers. I can imagine playing with friends would be so much better. The game got mixed reception but it's pretty cheap now too so I definitely want to give it a spin.
Ever Oasis: An action rpg from Grezzo, the developers behind the N64 Zelda remakes on the 3DS and the Luigi's Mansion 3DS port. I was really excited to try this out, but I couldn't get this due to either buying something else. I think this game was overlooked, probably bad timing since it launched the year the Switch came out and by then everyone was focused on Nintendo's new console. It isn't too expensive now but I should get this one soon since it could go up in price.
Warioware Gold: I love Wario platformers, but there's something about the Warioware games that are just so good. This one is like a compilation of all the best microgames and with some new ones I think. Feel free to correct me on that. I tried out the demo for it and was surprised at how fun it is, and all the spoken lines Wario has. I haven't seen this much spoken dialogue in a Nintendo game since Sunshine I think? At least from Charles Martinet himself in a Nintendo game. I was sold on the demo, but couldn't get the game, but will definitely get it.
Metroid: Samus Returns: Yes I know, I'm a bad person for not getting this when it launched. I just couldn't that year since that's the year the Switch launched and was occupied buying games for it. But I'm hoping to get this because I've heard how amazing this game really is. I'm hoping to get the edition that comes with the music cd and that one hasn't gone down in price yet. But this is a top priority for me to get on the 3DS. But the bigger question is how am I gonna get the Samus Returns amiibos at a good price...
Pretty much all the Atlus games on the 3DS: If there is one company who's been the biggest supporter of the 3DS, it's definitely Atlus. They are even still putting out new games for it, but those could be the last games they release on it. Who knows. But they have released a lot of games for the handheld and it shames me that I haven't bought none of their games. Well I did buy Persona Q but haven't finished it. However one of my friends has told me that some of their older games have indeed gone out of print, which means that I'll have to snag as many as I can while they are still affordable. All I can say is that if I at least buy the games I've been recommended, I'll be busy on my 3DS for ages, which isn't a bad thing.
(Dis)honorable Mention:
Metroid Prime Federation Force: Remember when they first announced this game that it caused rage on the internet? Good times. I felt really bad for Next Level Games, the developers behind this game. I feel like Federation Force could have been a good game, had it been a separate mode in a regular Metroid game. Not make an entire game around this concept. I think Nintendo must of read a post I made about a multiplayer mode in Metroid, but instead of making it into a mode, they made a game. I do wanna give it a go though. Will I like it or will I hate it? Won't know till I get it but hope the price for it hasn't gone up.
So those are all the 3DS games I'm looking to buy that I haven't yet. I want to get as many of these as soon as possible since they could go out of print. Some unfortunately have, so need to get on that as soon as possible. Nintendo says they plan to support the 3DS for a good while, but this could just be them saying that and who knows for how long that is. All I know is as soon as they pull the plug is when we will start seeing marked up prices on 3DS games.
Are there any 3DS games you're missing? Thanks for reading and...
