I love Titanfall 2. It's too bad I don't have a reason to go back after such a short campaign, but man was that an excellent rental.

It is almost the end of January which means BaD is coming back and to be honest I have no idea what I am going to write about. I thought about just posting random pictures and have you good people of Pixlbit think there’s some kind of connection but really it was just me posting random pictures. As funny as I think that would be I won’t do it, and I’ll probably do something else. Anyways we’ll worry about that February 1st. Ok so I’ve actually been gaming a bit the past couple of weeks, especially after I had a dream where I used my 3DS as a basketball and broke it. Odd but I blame it on the cough drops. Like I said on Friday I had some stuff come up so I didn’t upload my blog then but I will give a quick run down of what I played, and what I played after that, so I do kind of have a plan. Let’s get started!
Last week I finally lost the top spot on my Friend’s list in Disney Emoji Blitz, and it’s cool, I was trying to unlock some stuff and I’m almost finished with the level I’m currently on. DEB released another event where you could unlock the characters from Kingdom Hearts
I got them both. Pretty cool emojis.
I played some random 3DS games after having my dream to make sure my 3DS was still working. Green Lantern is not a good game. I thought that after reading some Lantern books I would get into it but so far it could be shovelware with a Marvel Licence. Shame really because I liked the PS3 version of the game. I continued my Madden Season, the 5 on 5 NFL Blitz meets Flag Football Rules (3 Mississippi rush) and the Cowboys are 14-0.
On the PS4 I started playing Titanfall 2 and hot damn that is a fun game. It combines my love for wild little to no strategy for FPS with a giant robot where I can continue my love for wild little to no strategy FPS gaming. I run on walls, run around bad guys, sliding, shooting, mostly hitting people in the face and the best part is that I don’t really get dizzy. This is my go to game right now, especially since I can’t find my copy of Madden.
PS3 its still NCAA Football. Duke Dynasty
Nintendo Switch: So I jumped into Startide game and at first I thought it was horrible. My initial reaction was due to my belief that there was no gun and I had to hack and slash the damn flying spaceship. Well when I finally looked through the tutorial I found that you use the right stick to shoot and aim. This made the game sooooooo (yes all the o’s are needed) much easier. Fun game. I run around with little to no strategy and shoot everything in sight (there might be a pattern here).
The final game I played this week is a game that has been ported to numerous consoles over the years and I think they even created a board game version. Talk about money grab. Anyways this is what I’ve been playing on iOS
There is actually a freebie version that plays the same but for $2 I got rid of the ads so now I have the premium version. The setup is familiar with the option of 1 or 2 players, naming the players, picking which color you want, and you get a top down view. There’s also options to turn on/off the sound effects and music as well as a difficulty slider. Since I am horrible at chess*
*fun Chris fact: Chris was a member of the SDSU Chess Club. I was the guy people played to boost their win totals in tournaments.
I understand the basics of chess but guess who plays with little to no strategy…this guy. So to get used to playing again I dropped the difficulty down to whatever is below beginner and I am just rolling. I kick up the difficulty a bit and I’m starting to sprinkle in some Draws with some wins. I kick it up a bit more and that is where I am. I’m eating losses and draws but I’m learning. I’m starting to mix in a little bit of strategy and I’m getting these now
I’m still getting draws as well but I’m not hitting the undo button now which means I’m kind of hanging with the computer. This is my new go to game on the iPad and on the phone. Yesterday after I finished buying some CDs from the local mom & pop at the mall I sat with my pretzel and played a couple of games before heading out. This might be the first time I’ve actually enjoyed a console version of Chess since the old Yahoo Games days where you would play randoms online.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. I need to get some work done so have a good week, and we shall see what I come up with for BaD.
That’s all for now, more later!
