I remember watching the Highlander TV series for the first time when I was living in Portugal. It was great, and I don't remember watching it in its entirety. Well I can do it now! And so I did.

First I watched the first two movies. I enjoyed the first movie alot more than I expected. Very surreal, and esoteric. It's so bad, it's good haha. The second movie is a trainwreck. It's so bad, it's bad that nothing could save it.

Now the TV series is a whole different beast. The first episode has a few moments where I cringed, but production picks up well into the season's end. The historical flashbacks are awesome, and little by little add so much to what makes the main character (Duncan Macleod) tick. Also I like watching the swordfighting. Can't wait to watch the second season, but I'm watching something else in between to break the monotony.

Ant-Man and the Wasp. It's on Netflix, and I was a big fan of the first movie. I'm still not done watching it, but it's already a blast to watch.

I wasn't going to be done this blog without ending with some more Witcher 3 eye candy.

Gosh darn it, I want to get back to Witcher 3. I wonder what real life time period it sort of parallels. Medieval times, I suppose, but maybe very late medieval?

Have you heard, or played Kingdom Come Deliverance? It's set in the 15th century. I figure The Witcher series is set in a similar era of the 14th and 15th century, and more or less in a similar geographical region.
