My addiction to Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is BaD

14 BaD days remain.

A typical day starts with me grabbing a coffee and firing up ACPC (not ACDC) on my phone.

ACPC

I talk to everyone at my campsite who wants to talk, then I go to whatever island the daily goals tells me to go to and complete the daily goals to get my three silver treats.

I then talk to the animals  visiting the islands and give them all the shit they ask for. This increases my friendship level (currently approaching level 159) and their levels in return (currently capped at 30)

I fish the sea and river, I catch bugs and I pick fruit off the trees. This is the shit that I give to the animals visiting the islands and my campsite when they ask for it.

I also give the animals treats to raise their levels and in turn raise my level. There are bronze, silver and gold treat that you get for doing certain things. There are also treats that are specific to certain animals based on their "theme".  They can also be given to other animals but they don't get the same boost.

I build furniture for my campsite and special buildings, tents, fountains and other shit that goes behind my campsite.

I make clothes to dress up me and my animal friends in.

I invite different critters to stay at my campsite and kick them out when I'm bored with them. I can only hold a certain number of critters (and that certain number is 8)

I also participate in flower growing/bug catching, fishing tournaments and droid scavenger hunts that gain me all kinds of other shit.

Right now I'm working on all sorts of valentines day shit. Yes they have special occassions for all the major and made up by card company holidays.

Oh god I'm pathetic. I need a drink. Nobody knows the trouble I've seen...

My Interest for Animal Crossing petered out after putting in about 100 or so hours (if I'm not mistaken) into Wild World (DS). Coincidentally it was also the first time I had laid hands on the AC series haha. Who knows if the Switch version might rekindle my interest. However I think it's probably going to be tied to Nintendo's online service. and if that's the case I most likely will give it a hard pass.

I usually pass on life sims, but AC might just be what gets me into them, I've said for years now. I find the seasonal/holiday goings on particularly appealing.

Also, I just realized your majora's mask reference. Good work, captain panda.

Those routines sound very familiar. It's the place I'm at in Forza Horizon right now. I do the weekly challenges and any random stuff I can think of that I haven't done before in order to level and make cash so I can buy Edinburgh Castle.

I lost interest in Pocket Camp after a couple months. I don't know, it's just missing something of the Animal Crossing magic for me. But we might give the Switch game a go whenever that comes out.

I think this is a good routine, highly approve! I need to play it more.

You may have been on my friend list in ACPC but you may not be any more since I've pruned everyone who hasn't played in more than 30 days. You can always get back on the list though. I still have Snee on the list and I think he only played for 5 minutes many moons ago.

Oh I think I'm just as bad as you on Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, if not worse.  The AC series one of my favorites and the GameCube version is one of my top five favorite games of all time, so I really like the series.

Nah, I've really spent way too much time on this game. I'm about to hit level 160 and I have over 1000 kudos. I look for you on there daily and try to help where I can. I think I've only been able to add bugs to your garden once, watered you flowers a couple of times and I give you kudos every day. :)

I really need to break the cycle.
