Hello everyone, how are you?

Today I'm gonna try something different. I love drawing, thing is I'm not very good at it. However I draw whenever I can. I normally use a paper and a pencil, but the 3DS has an art app called Colors 3D and it's pretty robust in what it allows you to do. But you should see some of the art people have made on it, it's amazing what you can do with it. Here is a link to give you an idea on what amazing pieces of art people have made using the app. I've been using it for years and I really love it. I figured why not make a post on the stuff I drew? Well it's more like an art gallery? Anyway, welcome to Captain N's Gallery...

Inkling: This one is from the first Splatoon game on the Wii U. Like the rest, I never finished it. Well the sketch is technically finished, it's just that I never got around to coloring it.

Inkling: Another Inkling from the first Splatoon game. This time it was from the Pokemon Red vs. Blue Splatfest. This one is kinda rough around the edges, never really finished it but might at some point.

Mario Enemies: This one consists of Boo, Blooper, and Goomba. This was a really quick sketch but I really loved how this one turned out. Might color it at some point.

Mario: This one explains itself, it's basically Mr. Video Game Himself. I have drawn Mario for many years, ever since I ws a kid and I definitely think this is my, or one of my best Mario drawings yet.

Captain N: This is one many wouldn't expect. It's my internet name pretty much everywhere. The outline on this one is far more bettr than the rest and that's because for the others, I use a filter that makes the ink I guess to paint like if I was drawing on paper using a pencil. This time I used something tht makes it look like I used a pen. I did this in one go without erasing anything. Think this is one of my most favorites.

Luigi: This one was a quick sketch I did for Halloween and figured something Luigi's Mansion themed might be good. It isn't my best one since it was something I made in less that 15 minutes. But I definitely think Boo came out really good.

And finally, here is an actual colored drawing I made...

 

Power Mask Mk 1: This is a piece of gear that you get in Splatoon 2. I made this last year and was probably one of my hardest drawings yet. I made an outline version, the top image and I made one without outlines, which I tried replicating the official art. Official art has no outlines. I also made the logo myself. I did mess it up but tried my best to replicate it as close as possible. Bonus points if you can get the reference in the drawing.

And that's the art I drew last year. It's a bit more different than what I post, but alot of these are game related so I suppose that counts. I prefer a pencil and paper or whatever other thing I could get my hands on, but using a 3DS to draw is pretty good too. I'm not really good at it, but I enjoy drawing and I suppose the important thing here is that you are enjoying yourself and having fun. Well that should be it for now. Which one was your favorite?
