From Red Box I picked up:

Bohemian Rhapsody

A Star Is Born

Won't You Be My Neighbor?

They also had Can You Ever Forgive Me, which I plan to see, but I figured 2-3 is good for now. The Mr. Rogers doc was a dollar off, otherwise I wouldn't have even known it was there.

I finished my taxes today and should be seeing a pretty good return as long as it's accepted.

I was happy that this year it was easy to view last year's return online, since I usually have to ask for a transcript in the mail because I can't remember my PIN, AGI, or address from a year ago (the address thing is no longer a problem, because I've just used my parents' address no matter where I live after the fiasco that resulted from using an apartment number). This go around, it looks like 2018 Joey was smart enough to set up an online IRS account and I was able to get the username and password through email and texted codes.

I used the free Tax Act service via the IRS website this time around, if anyone is looking for one of these services. I THINK the 1040 they spit out for me looked ok, so here's hoping.

I also did my usual dumbbell circuit, which I'm going to post here for my own sake and refer back to:

Bench, bicep, squat

Shoulder, tricep, Russian Dead Lifts

Planks, lunges, ... something

Kettlebell, Pull ups, the thing where you bend over slightly and bring the dumbbells out in kind of a flying motion.

Anyway, I think I may go to Wal Mart for some underwear and candy before I watch my movies. Hoping even though Necco went under and it's well after Valentine's, I might be able to score some chalk hearts. Look, I know people hate them, but if they're soft enough, they're some of my favorites. The underwear is just cause I didn't pack enough when I moved. I think I'll make a point of having an employee check me out while I stare at them ringing up my underwear and candy ...

Well, toodles, Pixlbitches.

Were those movies featured at the Oscars? I didn't watch. Who won?

Just thinking about kettlebells makes me ache. I do enough lifting of books on my shifts at the library. I come home with muscle spasms and cramps, although I'm getting more used to it and it doesn't hurt as much now.

Buying underwear and candy while staring provocatively at check out people is my idea of socializing. Tongue Out

The first two were, and I THINK the Mr. Rogers doc was nominated, but I'm not sure. I didn't watch either, but the highlights on news sites the next day were Green Book winning Best Picture and people being mad about it (I have some details, but not all and I'd like to see it), Spike Lee's acceptance speech, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper eye-shagging each other during a performance of the song "Shallow," Queen w/Adam Lambert opening the show and Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph telling some jokes. Other than that, speeches.

Honestly, I'm just really happy Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won for best animated feature film. Well-deserved, I'd say.

Libraries! That's where I can get free movie rentals!

I did self check-out, sadly ...

Didn't know about the Queen intro. Just watched it. Great!

That Mr. Rogers documentary is very good.  I was glued to it the whole time I watched it.

I watched Mr. Rogers as a kid, probably because his voice was so hypnotizing.  But I did either turn of fthe TV or changed channels when his puppets came on, because they were creepy.  I did like the red trolley, though, don't know why.  It's weird to think there is a cartoon show on PBS now that's based on those puppet skits (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood).

I fell asleep watching it last night; hoping I can get past him reminding me of someone who is not so Mr. Rogers-like ...

I watched Mr. Rogers as a kid as well and I could tolerate the puppets, but I mostly liked when they'd go out and tell kids how an industry works.
