"Well we may as well get started" Rochelle said.
They all look at Rochelle and Nick says, "Who made you troup leader?"
"No one made me leader but I am tired of sitting here."
They pack up and start south. They locate a highway and start their trek.
Nick looks at Coach and says, "Remember what you said on the last highway we found"?
Coach responded without amusment, "Shut up Nick, we survived the carnival, didn't we"? Without being noticed an unseen zombie is eating up a path towards the survivors.
When Ellis says, "Something is coming this way and it looks like it has a bigger appitite than Coach (or alternatively) "A bigger appitite than Keith that one time we wanted see how long we could could go without eating," the survivors stand in awe as commons, cars, and even special infected are being devoured at an alarming rate. As the never before seen zombie, "Glutton," shows why he is called that a rush starts. But before the survivors can do much the Glutton is upon them. Ellis attacks the Glutton with a machette which the Glutton plucks it right out of his hand and eats it. Ellis then reacts by shooting the Glutton in the head with a Magnum. Well the Glutton explodes and covers the survivors with a vile mixture worse than anything a Boomer could ever muster. Glutton Goop is what Ellis says as he turns and fights the horde. The survivors discover a small town and stop to investigate. The survivors relax as the town seems wells stocked and deserted. As the survivors enter a promising building they are attacked by a horde. After fighting off the horde they are rewarded with pipe bombs, molotives, and bile bombs. The next room has med kits and pills (if Louis had been there he'd been happy to find pills). But nothing is free and they are being watched from outside. When they leave the building they find a survivor.
"Hey who are you?" Nick asks with suspicion, "and are you infected?"
"No, I once was bit I found a serum and it returned me to a human."
"How is it you were a zombie, but aren't now?" Rochelle asks.
"Let start at the beginning," The survior begins, "I was at a lab in Sacramento when this all started. They came to me with this idea to fix the zombies. I told them I had been working on a serum to reanimate the dead so they ask if this would work on zombies. I had several zombies in my lab to experiment on. I was successful in giving the first two the serum, when the third one got loose and bit me. Luckily for me as I turned my lab assistant was able to give me the serum. As you can see it was successful. I knew of this town and knew it would be fully stocked with supplies, so I came here." The group seems to be okay with taking the new survivor with them. But was it a smart move? We shall check with our surviors later.
