Lucy Ann starts to fill the survivors in on some of the new infected that they will encounter on their trek. They arrive on a west boud highway thats skirts a large warm-water lake. The deserted highway travels through several small rustic towns.
Francis looks around and says, "What do you know, the west coast's answer to Ellis' home town". As our survivors rounded a corner they came across old military vehicles and stacks and stacks of bodies (not all zombies). It appears the military attacked anything that moved just before they were overrun. A lone figure is seen going through the stacks of bodies. When the survivors got a closer look they thought that this could be a survivor that had been injured because he was bent over backwards with his spine exposed. To their horror the figure attacked, racing at them bent over and running on his knuckles. He ran into Bill and knocked him flat. As the beast (the Scavenger) started to tear at Bill as a hunter would attack as well as biting him. The others rescued Bill and got him back on his feet. At long last they found they were drawing towards yet another highway when they came upon another lake with a developed but abandoned camp ground. Francis again utters his famous line, "I hate campng." Our group decided to rest before moving on as the camp site seems safe. Zoey walks to the waters edge and reaches out to fill her canteen. Louis calls down to Zoey to make sure she is okay.
Zoey looks over her shoulder and says, "I am fine I am just getting water." Louis returns to the others and is unaware of a figure lurking in the water just beyond Zoey. Just as Zoey rises to return to the group, she is silently pulled into the water by a yet unnnamed zombie. Just before she is pulled under Lucy Ann screams that Zoey is missing. As they race to the water Lucy Ann explains that this could be a Water Gator. A beast that pulls their victim underwater until they drowned and then they feed. The survivors manage to locate and save Zoey from the Water Gator.
As Zoey is pulled to shore we hear Francis say, "Told you I hate camping." As our survivors make their way west. They are searching for a road to the coast. The survivors come across a map in the backpack of one of the dead bodies they find on the road that says if they can find a small town called Willits they will find a passage west. As the survivors start out they hear in the distance a lovley song. Francis says "Hey when did we get to Italy?" The sound grows louder as our group draws near.
All the color drains from Lucy Ann's face as she utters, "Please God, no."
