Lifeforce, for the Nintendo Entertainment System, was a game I played over and over with my younger brother when I was a kid. I loved it - the whole idea of it, the music, the gameplay, everything. You're tasked with flying your little ship into a living alien planet... and destroying it. I loved that idea, and parts of it feel like you're really inside an organism, fighting antibodies and stuff.
Lifeforce was a Konami game, and of course, depended on the use of the Konami Code. I could still probably do it on a NES controller without thinking to this day. You definitely needed those 30 lives, and I can't imagine someone beating it without them, but I'm sure someone has.
The NES provided me with years of joy, and I still remember opening it Xmas day. I got the edition with ROB the robot and Duck Hunt. I'll never forget it.
Over the years it ruled, I played game after game, some good, some not so good. Lifeforce was great.
