As our survivors load up with supplies they start again west. As they start away from the ranch they hear a scream and a commotion in the pond across the street from the house. The survivors are shocked to see a lone survivor as he is being dragged towards the waters edge.

Lewis thinks to himself, "maybe I should try to save him." As if reading his mind Bill pushes him forward as Lewis realizes it is to late and one more survivor has become a meal for the undead. The team walks closer together as the weather gets cooler as they near the coast. It gets erie as visibility drops to almost nothing as the fog rolls in.

Zoey says "Are we all still together?" Everyone answers except for the newest member.

Francis walks up to the newest member as says "Did you hear the lady she ask you a question?" The newest member then looks at Francis with red eyes and a smell of death on his breath. The last thing heard before he fully changes is "Watch who you trust." as he reaches out to rip out Francis's throat . Bill, who was close by, pulls his Magnum from his holster and places a single slug into the re-dead's head. It was then and there the group decided they would help out other survivors, but would not allow anyone else to join their group. The survivors breast(climb) a final rise and see the most beautiful sunset over an ocean devoid of life. Or is it. The survivors know that there will be supplies in the harbor as well as possibly a boat that could get them to Los Angeles without having to brave the living dead on land. The survivors start their decent into the harbour, with only one way out if they can't find a boat. Some people never learn (remember The Sacrifice) hope they have better luck this time.
