It appears that from the map seen in this old dorm room taht there is a strip mall at the other end of this road. It shows storees such as a department store, a clothing store, possibly a sporting goods store, and maybe even a Burger Tank for you Coach.

"Burger Tank?" says Coach "lets go."

Rochelle also looks at Nick and says "Yeah Nick, you can update your tired wardrobe." As the survivors gather the necessary supplies they set out for the hopefully abondoned strip mall. A horde attacks as the group leaves the realitive safety of the college campus. After fighting off thier  advance they notice they are being shadowed by a lanky figure. Their first thought was another re-dead, their second thought perhaps a charger waiting for the right time to strike, or maybe a spitter on the prowl. They could not believe that is was nothing more than a hunched over rough-looking figure that could be injured. As Ellis says, "Friend are you all right?" the figure attacks and pounces on Ellis. It sits on his chest and attacks like a hunter but chews on its victim as well. Our group fires in union and destroys the mutant sitting on Ellis. Ellis looks at the group and says "Thank you, I guess it didn't like to be called friend." If I remember Lucy Ann called something like that a Scavenger. Well I all know is it hurts when it chews on you and tearing at your chest doesen't feel so good either. Their spirits grew when they spot a sporting goods store at the front of the Mall.

"Remember when we got help getting to the last mall we visited?" asked Rochelle.

"Yeah the fruitcake tried to get us killed for a six pack of soda."

"Well we did take some of his weapons with us without paying so I feel we were even," responded Ellis.

"Screw even," Nick snarls, "I would havce cleaned out his store if I could have carried anymore."

"You know you should really be careful talking about my brother like that," said an unrecognized voice.

"You have got to be kidding," Nick snaps, "now we got fruitcake brothers on both coasts!"

"Well I don't have to blow anything up to help you out, but I do have a map to help you find your way south without having to stay on the main highway. The interstate you are on will just keep getting more and more congested so this could come in handy. All I ask is you remember that I am here in case this ever goes back to normal. If it does I would then like to rejoin the human race."

Rochelle says "Of coures we can do that for you!" The group then finishes gathering supplies and starts to return to the school when the voice again says

"Take care and stay together for that is the best way to survive". As the survivors walk away they notice it is quiet, too quiet. The group sets off to get backl before dark.

"I really hope this guy is on the level," Nick growls, "I would hate to have to come back and kill him just for being a jerk."

"Kind of likelooking in a mirror, eh Nick?" Coach jokes. The group retruns to the school to take inventory and rest up. "I'm hungry," Coach says, "Ro would you make dinner tonight?"

Rochelle says, "Yeah Coach, as soon as you grow wings and fly." In the end they all help with dinner. Good night survivors, and remember- don't trust anyone.
