So I totally effed the noun when I ran waaaaay too much electrical current into the Atari Jaguar that George of PPR gave to me out of the kindness of his otherwise mysterious heart. I was very concerned that I'd have to tell him, "Dude. I completely screwed the object. The Jag you gave me literally went up in smoke, and we can't do our special Bullet Heaven."
Well, when I posted the blog detailing this shortly after PAX East, [Movie Trailer Voice] One man arose to face the challenge.
NSonic79, another great chap here on PixlBit actually tracked one down in his town for only $80, which, all told, would save me a ton on replacing my fried system. Since, you know, many on eBay are well over $100 before the shipping is even applied.
Well, it arrived today in a surprse second mail delivery. The good news out of all of this is that now, I have two controllers for some 2 Player action. Best of all, it works like a charm (albeit after a quick clean.) So, without further adue, here is the new Jag system set with my existing controller and the games I picked up at PAX Prime 2012 and PAX East 2013!
And with that, the special Bullet Heaven is still right on track! Just wait... and it's primed to be one of the most extreme scores ever. EVER!
I'd love to stay and chat, but it's time that I went out to get some errands done, son. Peace out, PixlBit! Until Next week!
