I played this title at my bfs house yesterday on his xbox and it was a pretty decent game. The story is pretty much the Statue of Liberty is stolen because ya know Shredder likes being a dick on a good basis so the 4 well known ninja turtles have to go after him and retrieve the stolen object and give Shredder the ass kicking he seems to always wants to come back to get. Combat is pretty simple, there only 4 ways to attack. when your standing you have a regular attack and a strong attack and then you have 2 of the same thing jumping, the attacks of course are unique because each of the turtles wield their weapon their known for. Its a sidescroller beat em up game so if your not a fan of those type of games just dont go near it. It is also pretty short, me and Daniel breezed through it in about 30 to 50 mins. It def worth a play through, it also has a survival mode as well but its pretty much story mode just you cant die. I noticed its no longer avaliable for buy on PSN or Xbox Live so unless you know of another way to get it I have no clue what to tell ya.
This game kind of got me psyched for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Its still doesnt have an excat date for this summer but I plan to get it once it releases.
I also played Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game while I was over there and it is a really good game. We didnt beat it because its longer then the Ninja Turtles one but I think over the next few times that we spend time together we will finally finish it.
In the world of gaming news though several things have come about!
First Borderlands 2 is gonna be getting its final DLC pack soon, meaning the GOTY edition is not far now, It prolly still wont happen till closer to September but its a lot closer then it previously was. the final DLC is a D&D themed one with an emphasis on Tiny Tina. I think it will be interesting and Its one of the DLC packs Im excited for that Ill wanna play when I get my copy of Borderlands 2 finally.
Secondly and shortly Call of Duty is getting another game, I know a big fucking shocker! *sigh*
Thirdly we actually got some character class specfic trailers for Dragons Crown. So far I have seen the Wizards, Fighters and Sorceress. I really like how the game is looking so Ill be ready for it once August gets here.
Anywho I think thats all I have to report on for the moment...oh ya, 36 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Turtles In Time Re-shelled was not an enjoyable experience for me. The presentation and animations were weird, the controls didn't feel right and constantly stepping on things to have your turtle say "My toes, my toes!" is the equivalent of Toad grunting in the GBA version of Super Mario Bros. 2 (and just as annoying).
I LOVE Scott Pilgrim. I should play it more often.
It was a decent game to me, It kept me and him entertained for the time we played it. The toes thing did get annoying but it only happened like out of 2 or 3 levels. So I was able to let it pass. Scott Pilgrim is a good game, Im excited to play more of it when Im back at his house.
I enjoyed turtles in time on the snes. My borthers and I played through it dozens of times.
I cant remember if I played that one, I jsut cant. I played some ninja turtle games on the oldr systems I jsut cant remember which ones specifically.
My brother Jeff and I loved played the TMNT games back in the day. Lots of fun memories and stories.
I'm really looking forward to Dragon's Crown.
I am too, I got Dragons Crown preordered already, Im hopeing they do a special edition thing with a soundtrack and all that like they have done for a few of there other games but I figure they wont announce anything till August gets a bit closer if they do it. August will be here before we know it!
I didn't care for Re-Shelled. Turtles in Time on SNES is so much better. They totally nerfed it. Scott Pilgrim was a fantastic beat em up though! So many awesome little tributes to other games, and it was pretty dang close to the source material. I even went so far as to pay for the Knives dlc.
SP was a lot of fun, I played Ramona and while the bf did wanna play as Scott he has him at a level 16 and he didnt wanna be over powered with me jsut starting so he played Knives. He is wanting the Wallace DLC but he is gonna wait awhile before he buys it. Im thinking of buying it for my PS3.
I agree with Aaron on this. Turtles Re-Shelled cut out a bunch of great levels and they changed a couple of things. The original on SNES was so much better!
Yeah I heard the TMNT re-shelled was pretty badly butchered. The original for the SNES is in my opinion the best beat'em up ever made. I was disappointed that re-shelled ended up being such a mess.
Dragon Crown looks awsome. Back in the day this is what I though games were going to look like before everyone went all polygon mad. I loved Odin Sphere so this looks to be right up my alley.
I guess if i could remember if I played the original or not that my opinion would be different. I just cant remember to save my own life!
Ive been playing Odin Sphere, Im in love with it! It just makes me more excited for Dragons Crown, I think its gonna be a really good game.
I'm disappointed people apparently don't like the new TMNT game, I thought it looked good. Oh well. Wait ... no, it was Out of the Shadows I thought looked good, never mind. So many turtle beat-em-ups! lol Well, I'm glad YOU enjoyed Re-Shelled, at any rate.
As for Dragon's Crown, the graphics look good, but ... ok, I know V4Viewtiful had a blog about the Kotaku guy's take on the Sorceress figure, but seeing it in action, those boob physics are like Team Ninja-style ridiculous, it's a bit distracting. lol Oh well. Those spell animations do look really cool, though.
I've only seen the Scott Pilgrim movie, which I liked, but didn't love like a lot of other people I know, but I guess I'd like the game or comics.
And Borderlands 2 and COD I know very little about really. Have a nice day. 
I like her boobs, there a nice touch to a sexy sorceress! Im not offended over the big boobs, I know some girls have had their panties in a knot over it but hey thats their problem. Ya, now a days they do this as a attention grabber to get men to buy their games but Im gonna buy it myself if it looks like Ill enjoy it, whether the female characters are overly sexualized or not. It might also be because Im Bi and Im comfortable in my sexuality for it not to bother me. Idk, Im just excited for the game overall and I will be playing as the Sorceress!
I liked the SP movie but I wouldnt say Im in love with it either. It was a good movie and the game is just as good. I hope you had a nice day as well :)
I'm not saying I'm offended by it, I'm saying it's very cartoonish and funny to me how much my eyes are drawn to it. lol Don't worry, I like boobs too, and I've dated a few bisexuals, so girls liking this stuff isn't outlandish to me, it's just you definitely notice whoever drew her really focused on that aspect. lol

I want to play BD2 too, I want to play Scarlets Pirate Booty the most, and it's such a sugestive name if you think about it lol They also announced Batgirl as a dlc character for Injustice which is awesome, but whatever happened to Power Girl is my question. I mean I like Batgirl and all but enough of the Batman characters, even if it pains me to say that lol
Batgirl is announced but she isnt gonna be the second character released. She was just found out super early. Lobo will be here May 7th and after that they should announce the second character. Im still holding out for Starfire dammit! I do hope you get Powergirl though, if we both cant win, one of us needs to,lol!

I'm guessing Dragon's Crown is being released on disc from what I can tell. If that's true I'm preordering it immediately.
