Bloodstained's graphics look glorious. SolSeraph looks interesting too. I played the PS4 demo for DQB2 and liked it. I'll get a copy eventually.

Hello Pixleburritos!
It’s very hot here today and I’m hiding in the airconditioning trying to not turn into a crispy critter. Which is unfortunate because the PS4 is in the other room and all I want to do is smother myself in Dragon Quest Builders 2.
So, what have I been playing since my last update? I SHALL TELL YOU.
First off, I had review copies of two games. The first being Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. I have a whole review written up over here, so I’m not going to go too deeply into it.
The other review code was for SolSeraph, which is reviewed over here.
Then Dragon Quest Builders 2 came out and fixed nearly every single problem I had with DQB1. I’ve been playing it almost exclusively and just finished the second island.
GUYS. Guys. This game is so fucking good, you guys!
I fell off DQB1 very hard about halfway to a quarter of the way through. The lack of permanence to your world stung. In the new game you are given an island that isn’t just some tacked on thing. It still has requests and mini-quests, and it’s large and you are free to change it all to your heart’s desires. You recruit people, animals, bring back materials. This is in addition to the other islands with their own quest/story lines.
My only real complaint is that the DLC is expensive and should have been in the game, and that some room requirements are still obtuse.
I’ll have to build up my island more, but I’m playing on PS4 and you should totally come and join me. I’ll have to take some screenshots to share.
