We are what a week away from Halloween and I still haven’t bought any candy, carved a pumpkin, or figured out which jersey I want to wear as I hand out candy. Since my neighborhood has so few people who go trick or treatin’ everyone gets a handful of candy. The neighborhood also had an event at the park last week where people were supposed to park at the clubhouse and handout candy from their trunk. I didn’t do this because it was last Saturday, and in the daytime. Anyways we have had enough candy talk let’s see what Chris has played.

-None. I’m actually close to finishing another season of Madden but other than that, nothing is on the horizon as almost being finished.

 

Still Playing

Madden 17 - PS4: I don’t know what happened but now I have to do some weird login because EA needs to verify that I am who I say I am while playing a 3 year old sports game. Thanks random hackers! As for actual game stuff, Season 3 of the Chargers spectacular is going well, the squad lit up the Philip Rivers led (I traded him to this team for a 10^th overall pick) Jets in Mission Valley and earning an AFC Championship Game against Jacksonville and those awful uniform/helmets. Not going to lie when I play them they wear their highly superior Mark Brunell-era jerseys.

Destiny 2 - PS4: I really don’t see anything different in this game. I think I played a game or two where I ran around, shot at bad guys, collected things, and then left the surface when things got bad. People dig it, so I guess it’s fun.

Gems Of War - Switch: I’m doing my own thing, grinding away and I think I am at level 80+ on my current class. When I finally hit 100 I’m moving over to start building up the Titan class. My guild isn’t doing too much but I’m not a hardcore player so it’s not a big deal.

Football Heroes Turbo - Switch: It’s been awhile since I’ve played this but I jumped back in last week, won the Championship for I believe Level 2, and went back to Level 3. Another quick football game that you grind and make your players better. Oooh that crazy RPG element.

Taiko no Tatsujin Drum N’ Fun - Switch: Oh I missed playing a Taiko Drum Game. The music is still really upbeat, the gameplay is fun although I haven’t tried any other mode other than the left Joycon buttons control the red hits, and the right control the blue hits. I played more of the classical music section and of course I got daring during the Flight of the Bumblebee and played on the hardest setting. Oooh talk about having your lunch handed to you. I will do what I normally do with these rhythm games: breeze through easy and normal, and then work from that point forward.

Disney Emoji Blitz - iOS: The game I play literally once a week, I go in, try and achieve the high score among my friends, unlock whatever emoji is available for the week and then go about my day. I got the Fairy Godmothers from Sleeping Beauty

 

I like to think I probably have Sleeping Beauty as well but I need to check.

Mariokart - iOS: currently #1 among my friends, and #1 in whatever level I am on. I think we’re getting new tracks soon which means I get to unlock the same badges all over again. At least I’ll have the drivers for it. I am missing a handful of gold and a couple of the special drivers. Each time I earn enough coin, I unlock a driver. Same for cart, and glider.

Overwatch - Switch: So if you follow me on Twitter you know that I’ve been target practice for the kids who play this game on the Switch, but one game guess what happened….

 

In my Stone Cold Steve Austin voice: Hell Yeah! Aftre that it was back to the usual of being target practice for little kids. One game the kid was like “I can’t believe this guy, I revive him, and then he gets killed again” I’m laughing away, and by the way kid, I’m the one who threw up the shield so you can camp and shoot. Yeah I play a handful of games a day because FPS gets me dizzy. At least I'm not as bad as Jim on The Office

The Uninstalled

Office Story - iOS: So this was a freebie game I downloaded awhile back and it’s based India where you start a software company, hire people, manage,etc. I have to say this isn’t something that is my kind of game, and after maybe an hour I was done. I don’t see the fun in a game where you are basically working.

Disney Majestic Princess Quest - iOS: Surprise it’s a match 3 game with all your favorite Disney characters with a freemium cap! Yeah the game is slow, way too many tutorials, and each puzzle board is supposed to be a mission where you the player have to help random Disney Princess on a mini quest. You earn stars and keys, the stars unlock new quests, and keys unlock new characters to go on new quests with different people. I like Disney but this game is way too slow, just play Marvel Puzzle Quest. It’s a lot more rewarding.

 

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. I just got back from picking up lunch and doing a little thrifting so I have actual things to do. Have a good week.
