As yall can see Im not very good about coming back LOL.

To be fair I lost someone super important to me in my family recently and while I meant to post way sooner my heart just wasn't there. Im okay though, it was just rough accepting. I thankfully got sometime with them before the end since I was helping 1 day a week.

Other than that Im good, still working nights at the same place. I need to move my ass on my pharmacy tech stuff but everytime I get motivated my mind ruins it. I get doubtful and afraid I wont cut it.

Anywho how are yall? Still going strong on here? I hope so, I miss yall when Im gone.

Being confident in yourself can be tough. I've made a lot of progress but I still have my moments. But lately I've been thinking a lot about the word, "persistent."  I think it's important to be persistent in life. It isn't easy, but it pays off.

im sorry for your loss.

I definitely have a issues being persistent. I need to work on that, maybe I can improve upon that through getting my Pharmacy Tech. Lets hope atleast.

It was rough when she passed but I know she is in better place.

Just keep moving forward. If you think you won't cut it then that's a problem. It happens to us all though. So many times I've almost given up but realized I'm my own worst enemy.

So just go for it. If it is what you really want to do then do it.

Short story: I'm a CyberSecurity Engineer but for years I struggled financially and mentally because I couldn't get a decent job. Then I'd find one and for a while things were ok. Then I'd have to leave that job for one reason or another and back to struggling.

2 years ago I found a job that I love and I'm making more than I've ever made in my life.

Even if it doesn't last another year I now know I can do it. *end of motivational speech*

I lost my dad about a month and a half ago so I know how you're feeling in that department.

Im definitely my worst enemy. Ive had my moments where my confidence rides high and I can get stuff accomplished. Than there is times likes these were Im a leaf in the wind of uncertainty and can barely move forward an inch. Thank you for the motivational speech, I needed it.  Ill be rereading it when I start to get doubtful.

Im sorry for your loss :(

Hey, I may have never met you but you've been part of my video game family for a long time. PM me if you ever need to talk because I do care about my family. :)

I'm having trouble with career stuff myself. As Matt said, I just try and persist at it. Also, working on not beating myself up. The mental game is key. I learned some things reading about meditation that have helped a lot. Mainly what I learned was that I have control over my thoughts. I don't have to let things get really dark mentally. Also, make habits and do a little bit every day towards you goal. I've been doing that and it gives me a sense a progress that builds my confidence over time.

Good luck.
