Not much to report in my little corner of the world. I was supposed to buy a used XBox One from a kid who comes to the market, I even had the cash in my pocket for a week, but he never showed. When I asked him how much he wanted for it, he said $50. I think he rethought it, but I was planning on paying him $100, because I thought it was kind of a low figure and he's a nice kid. Oh, well. Jason's little brother is selling me his for $100, and I can pay him in installments instead of all at once. So yeah, there's going to be an XboxOne in my near future.

Still haven't finished Arkham City or The Witness. Got distracted by Disney+ and a rewatch of all of the MCU movies, and then Christmas. And of course, while I was "Christmas shopping", I bought myself a game at The Game Box. I had to go in and get a new charging cable for my PS4 controllers (is it me, or are those things cheapass shit? I seem to go though at least one a year before they stop working), and while I was there, I asked if they had a copy of Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition. Yes, they did, and for $20 new. Merry Christmas to me! I never did finish it on my 360, so I'm just going to start over on the PS4, and probably sell the 360 version.

Speaking of selling things, I've decided to cull the collection. Anything that I know I'm either never going to play or finish goes. Might also sell some I've finished and have no replay value, too. I dunno, it's as bad as when I have a book cull. I get too attached sentimentally sometimes.

I might not have gotten any gaming stuff for Christmas, but I did get a movie gift card from Jason so we can go see The Last Jedi together next week. I also got a couple of cool t-shirts, one is a retro Star Wars t-shirt, the other one is one my mom had made for me, half joking, half serious. I also got some really warm, soft socks (when you live in a cold climate, these things excite you), a sports vest for winter running, and a Hydroflask. It was a good haul, and I am happy.

Off to attempt to be productive before I have to go to work. Ha ha ha. Hope the rest of Pixlbit Nation had as good a Christmas as I did.

I never finished vesperia on Xbox either. Got far though. I bought it for switch but haven't gotten far. Great game though.

I almost bought Tales of Vesperia the other day when I was looking over 360 games. I'm pretty sure I have it digitally, although, I'm not sure if it carried over to Xbox One. I need to check that.

Send me a friend request on Xbox One when you get it. I'm aiwithwarpdrive.

I started DQXI again today on PS4. I'm going to keep plugging away at it in between Borderlands 3 and Jedi Fallen Order that I'll have from the library next week.

I hope my PS4 cord doesn't go. I always keep it hooked up to the controller 'cause I'm never sure how much charge it has. I should figure that out.

Happy Boxing Day!

I had to cull my collection of necessity when I came to Arizona. :( I still have old stuff in storage and there are certain gaming treasures I will never give up, like my complete-in-boxes Lunar and Lunar 2 for PS1 and my copy of Final Fantasy IX autographed by composer Nobuo Uematsu at Distant Worlds in Omaha. My Switch is turning into an impressive game collection on its own.

I never finished Vesperie on 360 either, and I didn't realize how much of it was left when I stopped playing. I finished the Definitive Version on Switch.
