BaD: In which I procrastinate once again

So as I'm typing this, it's 11:29 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, so if I want to make the deadline with a new BaD blog, here we go. Good news is, this'll be brief.

More Red Dead 2 Online time this evening. I saved up enough gold bars to purchase the moonshine stable (25) only to find that right now it costs 18. I've got my moonshine cook and the supplies so I now have to do missions. The first mission I did was take down a blockade filled with revenue agents and holy shit are those guys excellent shots. I died five times before I could gun them all down and looted what corpses I could. Hopefully this is a side activity that can yield profits as well as the bounties and trading classes do.

I didn't see any new movies today. I stayed home, caught up on rest and did some house chores. While I made supper, I watched the 2nd half of Star Trek: The Motion Picture on Epix Drive-In. I know that film gets a bad rap for its deliberate pace but the actual mission (and revelations about the identity of the alien presence) is quite good. Those visual effects still hold up well. Fantastic, iconic Jerry Goldsmith score as well. After that Star Trek II started but I need to take a multi-year break before I watch that again before it becomes too familiar.

Right now, I'm watching a twitch stream and snacking on some peanut butter crackers. Another week starts so I hope it goes better than the past one. Maybe not so cold this time. Everyone take care!

I have a irrational fear of Red Dead 2 after playing it last Fall. Those big open world environments are just terrible for me. I inevitably get lost, then go down a wrong path, and get in trouble. Kind of like my real life, now I think of it.

I just wanted to say I love the original Star Trek movie.
