It was my alarm in Texas ... needs to be pretty loud for me to wake up.

So get this: earlier this morning, around 4am I get up to use the bathroom, and went I get back to bed I hear this faint beep-beep-beep-beep. I’m barely awake so I’m looking around to see if I turned on the TV (you would think the glow of the TV in a dark room would be the first clue I would look for, but I’m again half asleep). It’s not on, so I peak out of the window because the HOA put out an email about people getting into the neighborhood and stealing cars. I wanted to know if some yahoo was doing some kind of computer wizardry on the truck. It was still there, and now I’m awake. Is it the crazed car steeling gang? Is it aliens? Is it aliens who are in a crazed car steeling gang? I stayed up until 6am when I just fell asleep. The faint beep-beep-beep-beep sound would come in and out but stopped around 5ish. Thinking about it now especially with the rhythm of the beeps I think it was someone’s alarm clock across the little park/retaining basin. Also I have a lot of neighbors who go to work around 4:30am….or it’s that crazed car steeling gang.
I would like to say I watched a ton of new content this past week but I’d be lying. I decided to sit and watch an episode of the Maury Show. You know the show….”YOU ARE THE FATHER” *someone then dances*. I don’t think I’ve ever sat down and watched it but it’s 45 minutes of just that. After the first two I lost interest. Also why is everyone yelling? Even during the video packages.
The Office - Netflix: I’m almost done with Season 4. I can pretty much tell you what happens in seasons 1-3, but 4 and on I really don’t remember. I do know I made sure to watch the big episodes when they aired but basically after 4, it is kinda new to me.
I have a queue full of shows that I haven’t seen, there are a bunch of movies on the various movie channels and streaming services I haven’t seen, yet I watch The Office…Oh and last night I watched The Cutting Edge. You know the movie where the hockey player and the figure skater become the most dominant figure skating duo at the Olympics. That movie. I own it, yet I watched it on I think HBO.
In music I decided to put the shuffling of MP3s/AAC files on hold so I can fill up my music player with good ol’ FLAC. I found that have 20k mp3/aac songs on it was more of a chore so I went with FLAC because the SQ icon appears for evey song and having to deal with 5k or so songs I like is a lot more fun. Of course it comes down to me doing the dance of I have so much room and then quickly realize that around the letter L I’m running out of space and I know I want to include a bunch of artists from the letter T but I know that there are a lot of songs from the Movie Soundtrack folder that should make the cut. Yeah it’s insane especially since that the other music player will have podcasts and I will probably listen to more of that than anything else. The same old story with me.
Pickups:
Games
I bought this game on a whim while scrolling through Reddit
It was $2, it looks like a fun little clone of your typical Guitar Hero/Rockband like game with classical music.
Music
So last weekend I went looking for this card store that is apparently 8 miles from the house. I needed to buy some boxes and penny sleeves and Hobby Lobby wasn’t cutting it. I went and at the time they were supposed to be open, they were closed so I went to the thrift store across the street and found cool stuff like a game used IHL All Star Jersey for $15, random Washington Huskies Letterman jacket also for $15, but I was there for CDs and I left with these albums
Big Mountain - Wake Up
Various Artists - Bullfight Music From Spain
Mariachi Reyes de Aserrado - Sones de Jalisco
Andy Grammer - Andy Grammer
Avicii - True
Big Mountain and Avicii were full price at $2 each, everything else was $1. Big Mountain replaces the cassette single of Touch My Light, I’ve always picked up music about Bull Fighting (I like the horns…get it horns. I’ll see myself out), Andy Grammer replaces the iTunes single of Keep Your Head Up I bought years ago, and Avicii replaces the Google Play copy of this album.
Jersey
So after I got my whooping cough shot I decided to stop at the Marshall’s and look around before grabbing breakfast. I found this
I now own another USMNT authentic jersey. This is their 2018 jersey. Also the breakfast burrito was really good.
Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. Have a good weekend!
That’s all for now, more later!
