You know some mornings if I listen closely I can hear the freeway which is a couple of miles away. This morning as I was walking around the backyard it was quiet. It’s odd but at the same time I’m happy that it is just quiet. Good morning Pixlpeeps let’s get started on what Chris has been playing this past week (I just want to finish typing this so I can jump into a fresh box of cereal.)

Chris Plays…

Amazon: The Waiting Game - Real Life: Usually when I play this game, it’s casual, I check the app once a day and the items I order usually arrive within the Prime Shipping of 1-2 Days. Now I check the app constantly, get into contact with the mods who run the game when something goes wrong via chat (if you load the chat on a PC, then close it, when you get to talk to a mod, it hits your app.) Well I ordered a case of Lipton Boxed Soup and it was supposed to arrive yesterday but now the date was changed to April 1st. I can only imagine what shipping would be if it wasn’t prime. FYI: this soup with some rice DLC tossed in is a great use of time while sitting on the couch. Anyways this is probably the biggest game people are playing right now, and I have some water filters DLC for my Britta coming in a couple of hours.

Gems Of War - Switch: It was time and Saturday I announced my retirement from this wonderful time waster that I spent I think around 500 hours on this game and Siri tells me that’s around 20 days. Yeah I could have done the math but hitting the Siri button is a lot faster, and we need faster because fresh box of cereal.

It was time, I didn’t have the drive to play, it wasn’t fair to the guild, so I left the guild so I don’t take up a spot, uninstalled the game and went about my day. We had fun Gems Of War, thanks.

NBA 2K - Switch: oh once again the Toronto Raptors got the best of Video Game Chris and the Chicago Bulls handing them another loss. It was tough but when the other team is shooting lights out and you miss bunnies in the paint, it happens. I spent the entire game chasing, got the lead down to 2, and then the just went on another run.

Fire Pro Wrestling - 360: I can’t remember the full name but it was in my library of arcade games that I must have bought so I started a new character which I named Hard Wood Jones, and I gave him a back story: Hard Wood Jones is a floor installer by day, wrestler by night. He is working his way up the ladder to win the World Title by unleashing his hard wood skills. I’m two matches in, 2-0.

Alto’s Adventure - iOS: This is a game I started playing one morning while listening to the radio while waiting for my alarm to go off. It’s kind of like the same concept of the old Temple Run Endless Run games. You’re a snowboarder and you have three tasks to accomplish before you move onto the next level with three new tasks. You can collect power-ups, and coins while side-scrolling snowboarding collecting llamas that have escaped. You snowboard through forests, towns, jump over valleys, and sometimes get chased by an angry man you woke up. The coins earn upgrades to your power-ups and you can unlock new snowboarders with different skills. It’s casual, it’s fun, and there’s now Freemium Cap because this was a paid game that was made free.

-I decided to install the new Call of Duty multiplayer game that I am calling COD: Fortnite, and the original download said 10GB. I said ok, and then proceeded to download it to the PS4. It then said 20GB download, I figured alright, it's the game and maybe an update. Fine. Once it hit that milestone then the screen said 90 GB download. I stopped the download because why the hell would I dedicated that much space to a freebie game that won't work if I lose internet? I think the base game is still installed on my PS4 but I have yet to launch it.

I think that’s all the games I’ve been playing. I started cataloging my trading cards, filling my music player up, sorting my mp3s, FLAC, and other fun stuff. Alright Pixlpeeps I think I am out. Have a good week, wash your hands, and don’t be like Florida. You crazy, Florida.

That’s all for now, more later!

-Chris

I played a lot of the original Modern Warfare, and also MW2. Don't need to play any more. Sealed

Amazon, The Game. Good one. I still haven't touched my Xmas Amazon gift cards.

I've been doing some music stuff. I'm making CD sized data discs of albums from my digital collection to play in my car. I've ripped a lot of vinyl that I never broke up into tracks, so did more of that today. I now remember why I stopped doing it. It's pretty boring and time consuming. But it'll be worth it. I'm listening to the first one I made and I'm enjoying it better than my usual podcasts.
