Good morning Pixlpeeps! So last night I finished Tiger King because it was the show everyone was watching and I finished it in I think three days. I stopped here and there because it was just a hot mess of crazy. Since I finished I would like to share some thoughts, so if you haven’t seen it yet, and don’t want to be spoiled or if you don’t care just skip today, it’s not a problem and I’ll see you tomorrow. For everyone else let’s get started.

Ok so there’s Joe Exotic who owns a bunch of big cats and has a zoo. He is hated by Carole who also owns a bunch of cats and has a zoo. This is legit the Spider-man pointing at Spider-man meme. Anyways Carole says she is trying to protect the cats and hates people like Joe who is trying to profit off the cats. Joe is saying he also trying to protect the cats and hates Carole because she is trying to make him the top enemy in the country. Mix in a swinger, polygamy, a hired hit-man, murder, a rich guy swinger, a country music diss track, explosions, a snitch, the government, a drug lord, and running for President and this is basically all crammed into 7 episodes. Oh and cats, lots of big cats. It is insane but I have so many questions

 

-How is the guy who spent time in prison for drugs the normal one?

-How is Joe pulling in all these guys to be his husbands? His game must be off the charts

-How is Carole not in jail for killing her husband

-No question here, I just want to say the various hairstyles are freaking amazing. AH-MAZE-ING!

-Joe and Carole are basically the same except one has more money

-Where can I buy Joe Exotic’s music? I need a CD of that song he sang about Carole killing her husband.

Why didn't Joe just take the L and go on his way. Guy made some terrible choices in who to trust, his ego got in the way and now he's sitting behind bars. Carole did just enough to set him off. Also Carole seems like one of those people who will demand a refund if you didn't give her a reciept. Each epsiode brings in a new character who somehow is more over the top than the previous one, the stories are wild, and there is so much footage of reality show that you saw just how crazy life was in this zoo. The crazy part was owning big cats was the most normal thing about these people. Let me write that again: OWNING WILD ANIMALS WAS THE MOST NORMAL THING IN THIS SERIES. 

There’s so much crazy crammed into each episode you sit there and say “This can’t be real” but hot damn it’s real. It’s an interesting watch and one crazy ride. In the end I feel bad for the animals. They were the pawns in this insane game and it's sad.
