Corona-BaD: Star Date 04222020

Quick update before I take my 3pm nap/watch Jerry Springer reruns on syndicated TV: In my NBA 2K19 game the video game Bulls swepted the Golden State Warriors and won their 7^th NBA title. In the offseason I basically got rid of my bench with the exception of three players, and then I filled my bench with solid role players who can score. I also drafted a player out of SDSU because I have to, and currently the Bulls are 3-0. The starting lineup is the same, I added Malcolm Brogdon from Indiana, the return home of Derrick Rose, and Danny Green. I thought about making a play for KD, Klay Thompson, and Kyrie Irving but I wanted to see if I could build up my starting five to be superstars.

Alright it is almost 3 and there are people that need to be fighting on my TV screen. Have a good one…and WASH YOUR HANDS!

Did they ever make a Jerry Springer video game? Seems like a plan for 16-bit consoles.

I would totally play that. Especially looking forward to the "I'm Having My Stepdad's Baby" level.

Oh that would have been such a fun game: you're the person who just got cheated on and the other person comes out, you have to get passed security, take down the other person, score some hits before security pulls you apart, and then have to do some pick your dialogue like the Telltale series. I would play this.

I remember being so into sports games but these days it doesn't interest me much. I do look out for a good arcade style sports game though like Super Mega Baseball or Everyone's Golf. I will try a sim though if Game Pass makes me do it for a Quest Reward. Heck, maybe I'd get interested again.

I like the control of the sports games. It's the whole Couch Coaching where you watch the real thing and say "I can do a better job" and this is how I play through it. Usually whatever sport is on TV is the one I want to play but since we have no sports I've been sticking to basketball and it has the balance I like of always having a game to play in a long season with a lot of moving parts, and the pacing is a lot faster than football or baseball.
