So before I almost forget to post something and I get caught up in other exciting things to do inside because no masks, I am here typing up my Quick Hits blog for Friday. I just paid a bill, my back is still a little sore, which makes me in a blah mood. I can’t complain because it is Friday and I might venture into the backyard this weekend. OOOOOOHHHHHH. Let’s get started before I get more snarky and start criticizing things I watch on TV.

 

Chris Watches…

The Usual: Still watching Community while eating lunch, the usual list of programming throughout the week.

 

The New: I saw a show on Netflix abou interesting Interiors of homes. A nice English couple transformed their boat house into a surprisingly light and open space, a guy recreated the old Pan Am 747 First Class cabin in his garage (not my thing but you do you), and a guy transformed his basement into what I thought was the coolest Cubs bar, ever. This might be my new show.

I finished a couple of Marvel Audiobooks:

Captain America: Civil War (movie version)

The Iron Man Collection: Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3 (movie version)

The Incredible Hulk (movie version)

Thor (movie version)

Iron Man: Extremis

 

Quick Thoughts: Captain America still annoys me, 3 Iron Man books in a row might be too many Iron Man books in a row, I like The Hulk book. Such a roller coaster of emotions for a popcorn flick. I feel bad for the green guy. Thor wasn’t bad but I became more of a Loki fan. I liked Extremis. It takes place between 1 and 2 and its a lot of fun.

 

Chris Listens…

-Yeah the music is still there,I’m still going though it

-I added a new podcast, Bachelor Party from the Ringer because they do a little bit of The Challenge AND Vanderpump.

 

Randoms:

-I’m almost done cataloging my football cards. 30 more favorite players, and a bunch of Panini Stickers to go and I am done.

-My back is still sore. I’m debating on bringing back the Siesta bed to the living room (air mattress I stick in the corner). It just feels cozy in the corner having a full size air mattress between a wall and a Lay-Z-Boy.

-I’m really becoming a fan of eBay.

Games

The Freebies keep coming. Pac Man Championship Edition 2 was available on Steam and I believe the consoles. Also on iOS and Android Deus Ex Go. On Android I believe I now have all the Go games, and on iOS I am missing Tomb Raider Go. Can’t complain about free, right?

 

Music:

The first of a couple of CD pickups from eBay

 

I almost bought this CD a couple of times on Amazon but the lowest it ever dropped was $14. eBay had a copy for I believe $4.33 after taxes with free shipping. I have two other CDs coming in along with some cards. This was a CD that had two hits that would always be on the radio at lunch in high school. Good times.

 

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. I need to eat breakfast, and then catalog some cards, and maybe take a break on the siesta bed. Have a good weekend and WASH YOUR HANDS!
