Ramblings on a Monday morning:

-I played Moto Rush GT on the Switch and its a typical point A to point B “racer” with some goals, usually time goals, or achieve a certain number of X. Also you unlock bikes, earn coins, and use coins to upgrade bikes. Was it worth 4 coins? Sure. It’s basically a Freemium game you would find on a phone except without all the terrible in app purchases and crappy ads for Best Fiends. Don’t expect a deep game.

-Because of The Last Dance finishing (damn those allergies making my eyes water) I went back to NBA 2K19 for another game of Video Game Chris and the Chicago Bulls. It is amazing that I tend to blow 10 point leads in games. It happened again against the Celtics but as the Celtics inbound the ball down by 2 with 10 seconds left, Video Game Chris stole the ball, raced down the court and performed a circus slam dunk. Gotta put a little style into it.

-I reinstalled Need For Speed Most Wanted because I wanted the Fast & Furious feel. I already beat the game numerous times on PC, Mobile, and I believe both 360 and PS3? Yeah I loved the game that much. Maybe I’ll actually try and finish up the secondary missions like taking down billboards and crashing through fences.

-Disney Emoji Blitz introduced another villain into the collection and after some grinding I unlocked it. Now back to regular grinding so I can move up in levels and unlock the Fairy Godmother.

-Forza Street I only play to unlock freebies, and hit autorun on races I’m guaranteed to win. It’s a cool 5 minutes a couple of times a day or as someone online said "The perfect bathroom game"

-I haven’t played my random game of 12:34pm or what I like to call 1-2-3-4 in a couple of days. I go about my day and then I try and catch that time by not waiting for it. If I’m feeling like I’m in a betting mood I try to remember the day and date along with playing 1-2-3-4.

-Since Virusfest started I stopped wearing shoes, I haven’t driven a car, and my fast food purchases have dropped to the point where I have extra money in the budget for CDs (oh and I don’t have that sick feeling after eating a ton of McDonalds). I might keep this up…but I do want to wear shoes and drive around at some point. Speaking of CDs I bought one last night, and I bought an additional 4 earlier this morning. The four I bought were less than the one I bought last night ($7.XX vs. $8.XX). Thank you random seller sale.

-My Facebook is odd. It went from “We are all politicians”, to “We are all doctors” and now it’s “This is my new Avatar”. I don’t understand it, I barely interact with people (I pound that Like Button like it’s a fighting game), and I see what friends are up to. Oh and I do love me the Snooze and hide post options. The stupid Nametest thing I’m still trying to figure out how to block. We need another Is the dress Gold and White or Black and Blue, or my favorite If a dog wore pants would it be over the two back legs or all four legs. Whoever thought of that one is a freaking genius.

I guess that’s it. I’m running low on Famous Amos cookie packs (the kind you get in a Costco Store)*

I might InstaCart it with a bunch of other randoms because I am getting paid sometime this week. Ooh I should play 1-2-3-4 X Day/Date on payday.

*Read that line to the chorus of Raspberry Beret

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. There is breakfast that needs to be made, and I may have some “homemade” frozen waffles. Have a good one and WASH YOUR HANDS!

That’s all for now, more tomorrow!

-Chris

Our Facebooks are the same to some to degree, but I see way more memes. Meanwhile, Twitter is always finding ways to disappoint me with its negativity but lately it has actually had some pretty good posts and threads (most are happy with The Last Dance, which cuts down on the bickering).

I don't want to see how white/gold vs. blue black dress gets politicized though.

And I think I might be in the mood for Need for Speed. I only ever see Heat on sale though. Hmm ...

I wish my feed had more memes. It's only a handful of people, but everyone else wants me to read their articles or long posts. I'm a scroller not a stop and read...er? Odd.

On Twitter I blocked the trending. All I get are the posts of folks I follow but I will sometimes go down the rabbit hole of bickering and then just end up blocking a bunch of people. Thank goodness for We Rates Dogs, and the Twitter page of people dubbing different music over the clip of Michael Jordan listening to music. Speaking of meme's MJ is a goldmine of memes.

I don't post a lot on facebook, but I do check it and like stuff and comment. Don't feel the need to post too much, but I do post the books I'm reading like I do on instagram and twitter, and I post the various odd like or comic observation.

I never really felt the need for an Xbox, but I would like to play those Forza games.

I see your tweets all the time. You sir read a lot, and I admire that.

Forza games are fun. You can tinker with it to be more sim or more arcade. I like arcade. They're similar to NFS games except NFS is really flashy.

I just look at notifications from friends on Facebook. I watch my gaming buddy react to every little thing in his news feed like it's the god honest truth. All I can do is shake my head. i never look at the news feed anymore.

Scroll and like is the way to play Facebook. People post their political views, keep scrolling, folks post pictures they took, hit that like button.

I'm very judicious with my "likes" now.
