Yeah, I brows through classic 1UP/Pixlbit from time to time. I've been a part of this community for 13 years this month. 

And trust me when I say that compared to a quite few users, you were pretty okay. You were not one of the problem children of 1UP.

Oh damn, 13 years is a long time. I've only been around for nine. 

 Yeah, 1up sure had a few pesky kids about. Pixlbit sorted the bad out mostly though. I wasn't on their level, but I was an opinionated edgelord little shit haha.

Oh shit, there IS still a 1up.com up online. 

Yeah. Unfortunately you can't really do anything on the one that exists outside of Wayback Machine apart from look at the last two pages of blogs.

ah, well we all have our moments. Would be nice to see you around here more though. You have an interesting perspective on games. And life. :)

If you say so haha. Honestly, I just didn't come back for ages because last I was on was during a bad manic episode, and coming back a) reminded me of it, and b) I didn't know if I caused any drama or made everyone hate me or something.

 I did really miss you guys though.

You gotta do what you gotta do. If it's too difficult to deal with, take care of your health. But don't stay away because you were afraid people hated you. That isn't the case. We've missed you.

If anything, I just thought you had it really rough at that time and wasn't exactly sure what to do about it in an online forum while in another country. We've missed you, man. Glad you're in a better place.

I'm glad you're back. I always read your takes as thoughtful and humourous, never really intolerable. I took a long absense too, and just recently started blogging here again.  I haven't really been playing anything new lately is the reason. Playing catch up with the back log. I'm barely on Dying Light and The Surge. Also getting through Persona 5. There's supposed to be a big psn sale next week, like the steam summer sale, so I'm sure I'll have plenty to buy, play and blog about this year.

For sure. I've been playing a bunch of games lately, so I'm sticking around. I always looked forward to recommendations from you. You playing anything lately? 

Oh yeah. I finished Doom Eternal not too long ago and quite enjoyed it. I also played the demo for ultrakill which you should check out if you haven't already because it's fantastic.

 At the moment I'm mainly playing Nioh 2 and an indi metroidvania called Cathedral someone gifted me and it turned out to be amazing.

I think everyone has said eveything I was thinking already. In the back of my mind I think I was a bit worried for you and wanted to know how you were doing. Some of my days are like Brutal Doom, others Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure. . . I don't know what I just said. 

Sorry to have worried you. I'm doing pretty well now. Honestly, while it was rough at the time, it was a good thing in the long run because I got treatment and I'm medicated now. 

 I don't know what you said either haha. Some of your days are scarily bloody, and others you feel like a disney princess? :p

That's good. I'm considering getting meds again for myself but my girlfriend would freak out about it. I'm still considering it. 

Why would she freak out if you don't mind me asking?

She helped me get off them way back in the 90s. 

I just spent a couple of minutes just looking at the front page and browsing the list of users who posted blogs. Wow that takes me back.
