Yeah, Sony really has their shit together when it comes to security issues. 
That's why I was hesitant to use digital store for eshop. Is using paypal any different? That's usually what I use to buy digital.
I think if you have your payment info saved, regardless if it's a card or PayPal, you might be in trouble. Personally, I love buying digitally, but when the news first hit about this, I removed all my payment info. It's annoying to put it in when I want to buy something, but it helps me slow down the impulse buying too, ha ha.
Xbox requires a payment option to help identify you. I just keep changing that password and monitor my statements.
yeah it's pretty annoying we have to stay on top of this. You'd think multi-billion dollar corporations coud get their shit together.
I'm just worried about when the quantum computers come out. Those things are going to be able to crack everything.
