Im suprised to see people love the game on console. I don't want to play these style of games with a controller at all. I played the original on PC when it launched. I'm suprised baldurs gate 3 is more like dragon age 2 now.
What I'm Playing

I haven't been playing a lot of video games, but when I do, I've been playing Pillars of Eternity on my new computer. Released in 2015 by Obsidian after a successful Kickstarter campaign, it's a bit of a throwback to D&D games like Baldur's Gate, but with modern tech and sensibilities.
I've had the game for a while, and played the beginning of it multiple times - on my old computer, and on Switch. I think I've said this before, but each time I play it, I notice or discover new areas/parts of it that I hadn't before. It's a great game.
It does involve a considerable amount of reading, though it has more voice acting than older games. But there's a lot of dialogue and story, and you're gonna be reading a lot of it.
I've done the first two dungeons now, and am about to head out of the first town. I've gotten farther than this before, but I don't mind playing it again.
Even though it's not a very demanding game, it does make the fan of my Macbook Pro turn on, though it doesn't get very hot. But I don't have the most powerful Macbook. I played it on my old, crappy PC with not many problems, except for slowdowns sometimes. No slowdowns on my Mac.
Overall, I recommend it if you're into this sort of thing. It's available on PS4 too, but I'm not crazy about playing it with a controller. Definitely a mouse game, but it does work on consoles not too badly.
