Did anyone else try and get a freebie copy of Watch Dogs 2 yesterday from Ubisoft? The only catch was to watch a minute of their presentation (man this screams Timeshare scam) and then you get the freebies? Well just like everyone else on Twitter, I did and I couldn’t log in because they had problems, and I figured it wasn’t worth the effort for a $10 game on Steam. Good guy Ubisoft (you rarely hear that) had a promotion where all you had to do was register after the presentation and they would just give you the game. There were some problems with that but earlier this morning I looked at the Ubisoft version of Steam and there it was. Cool deal.

During their preshow they had a code on the screen for one of their games and when the code was take it shifted to another code. I tried but each time I hit enter it said it was claimed by someone else. Oh well. That was the excitement for Sunday.

 

I really didn’t venture out of my normal routine of two games, I am currently downloading/installing Watch Dogs 2 and I have been browsing my “Need To Play” list on Steam to find something worth while to talk about. In the meantime

 

Madden 20 - Origin: The Cowboys are currently undefeated on their LOL Tour (I named it that because everyone is in their prime so games are usually lopsided) and the last game I played they faced the Washington Redskins who were 3-6. I got cocky and then fell behind 14-0, but came back took the lead but the Skins wouldn’t give up and it was 35-35 with something like 30 seconds left I was deep in Dallas territory. Two passes later, one each to Amani Cooper and Michael Gallup and the Cowboys were in Field Goal range, and my kicker hit a 49 yarder as time expired to grab the W in Washington 38-35

NFS Heat - Steam (Via Origin): At this point in the game I’m doing busy work. Finding collectables, trying to three star any remaining drifts/speed traps/jumps, and grinding for cash (I use the jump on the bridge. It’s 5k per jump and it take like 10 seconds per jump.) I should just look for a mod or tainer since I never play online. We’ll see.

 

I wasn’t a fan of the original Watch Dogs but I heard the second one is better so we shall see if it is something I’ll enjoy. If not there are a bunch of random Steam games I want to try, like some space games. I've also been looking through my 360 Collection and there are some games I want to give another try. Hell I might actually finish a Halo game. We shall see.
