Another Batman Game, And PSP Poker

The morning ritural: either wait for breakfast sandwich to thaw before tossing it into the microwave or wait or the breakfast sandwich to cool down a bit from Surface of the Sun to Burn Your Taste Buds Pizza Rolls hot. Oh the simple things…I have an ice cold Pepsi going so let’s catch up.

Batman Arkham Knight - Steam: Since I’m in a mood to play games I’ve already beaten on other platforms I went back to AK. I’m 29% finished and all I’ve been doing is the main storyline aka “Who is the Arkham Knight.” I have to say it is a little easier to get through it when you have an idea of what to expect so you know how much game you have left. The big Act II event just occurred so now Batman is rolling through Gotham. I didn’t spoil much if anything really, especially for a game from 2017. One thing that bugs me though is when Batman brings up his wrist communicator and the video of the person he’s talking to pops up it can be seen from the other side. Random stranger can see that he’s talking to Alfred, the butler to Billionaire Bruce Wayne.

Various World Series Of Poker Games - PSP Emulator*: I got an itch a couple of days ago to fire up the iPega controller for my Android Music Player/Burner Phone and play some video game poker. No reason just out of the blue and I played for maybe an hour. The next day while sitting in front of the laptop again the urge hit so I fired up the Emu again, played an hour and promptly had my lunch handed to me. I had rags but I knew the other guy was trying to buy the pot. This maybe my thing for casual gaming. I’m also throwing out quotes from Rounders while playing. Maybe I should buy some Oreos…

*Relax people I own multiple PSPs and the Poker games I'm playing I own the physical UMDs. It's easier to play like this, than to dig up the PSP, find the game, and then find my charge cable.

UFC 3 - PS4: Oh wow an actual console game. Yeah when CBS All Access crashed on me while binge watching Big Brother Over The Top, I decided to fire up UFC and then proceed to win the Light Heavyweight Title with my created player Richard Johnson aka BigDick. BigDick finished up one contract and destroying his rival and then moving onto the next contract where he had a shot at the title but had to get through a murder’s row of UFC big names. Did that, won the belt after four tries (I’m not a ground guy and guy in the title match kept shooting. Finally I figured that if I kept my distance and proceeded to try and break his leg with kick it’ll work. 2^nd Round the ref had to stop the fight because I whould kick his leg, he’d fall and I would refuse to get on top and try to knock him out). I’m now on the Superstar Contract and the rival for this contract keeps talking trash. I may have to break his leg as well.

Madden 20 - Origin: I started a GM Franchise with the Titans, and after three seasons I want to start over. I don’t like the new stadium…actually I like it during day games but at night it’s too dark. I overspent on talent when I should have been building on young players. I may stick with Tennessee or go with either the Rams/Chargers. It’s a shame you can’t relocate the team but keep their uniforms and logos.

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. I think my sandwich is cool enough to regret eating when it burns me but at least I’ll be watching the Big Brother All Stars live feed (Go Janelle!) Have a good week!

All Simpsons aside, I really do like Arkham Knight. It's actually my favorite of the trilogy.

The only thing, for me, about playing that franchise mode in Madden, is I'm sort of locked into players being on the teams they're reall on... like, Carson Wentz has his issues like any player, but in my mind, HE is the quarterback of the Eagles. I don't know if I can handle Mahomes being the Eagles quarterback.

Yeah I had that problem for a bit, but once you let one go, it becomes a lot easier. My current one with the Titans it is a lot easier because no emotional connections. I just like them because they have a lot of uniform combinations.

I always had some trouble with the UMD in my PSP. If I gripped it the wrong way the game would freeze. So putting some emulator software on it sound like a great idea to me. I am, however, looking more forward to September when MS puts Game Pass on mobile. 100 mobile games. Oh yeah.

That's odd, I never really had an issue with the UMDs. It's crazy that phones now can run emulators for games like PSP as well as more powerful consoles.

I didn't know that about Game Pass. That should be a lot of fun with actual games instead of the tons of freemium games in the mobile world.

That was one particular PSP I had with a loose UMD door. I think my other one was fine that way.

I've been waiting for the mobile Game Pass. I know MS wants to have games on all devices, so I was wondering what was taking them so long to go to moble.
