RE 2 Remake quick thoughts

I just finished the sewer level, holy shit! This part was very annoying and the backtracking sucks. Hopefully the next section will be better.

So far beginning area, or first 1/3 in police station is quite amazing, but middle section is frustrating. On to the ending.

I'd love to play this but don't have the time. I have very fond memories of the original. Creepy game.

This game is pretty short. About 8 hours really. I think playing both stories pads it out a bit more, but it's basically the original game in HD but more accessible controls and manageable save system. They got rid of tape ribbons. Still a lot of back tracking though. I would say this is the best game in the entry to play if you like the original haunted house games, and 4 if you like the more action type game.

Apparenlty, I stopped right before I SPOILERS

was supposed to start playing as the girl.

Who do you mean? Clair, Ada or Sherry? I only played the Leon story so far which lets you play as Ada for a bit. I haven't gotten to the Claire story yet. It's pending...

Also, why did you stop playing it? I think Claire is supposed to be harder.

This is a very good entry point to the series. You get the best out of the series in this game and its accessible to newcomers (controls/camera/difficulty).
