I finished my breakfast sandwich, and my Pepsi is almost empty which means I should update you good people before I go about the rest of this hot as heck Friday. It’s going to be a “cool” 117° and I will be inside. I would go to the pool but you know everything is closed and besides that water would be warm too…although I could buy a kids pool and some bags of ice. Hmmmmm. Before I make a random trip to Walmart for a kids pool and bags of ice let’s get started.

Big Brother All-Stars/OTT - CBS All Access: For a season with a bunch of All-Stars they are playing really slow. I don’t get how Kevin is supposed to be an AS when his social game is terrible, he floated, his actual game is crying and begging, and his comp event he wasn’t good. Either he goes home next or they keep him till the end because he’s a layup win.

OTT on the other hand is just crazy. The balance of power shifted a lot and that is due to the powers that the game gave to America. I’m currently two episodes away from the Finale, I know who won because this happened in 2016 but damn there is a good Power to Underdog back to Power story being built.

 

Hells Kitchen All Stars - Fox: Another show from a couple of years ago that is being replayed and I’m watching. I still don’t get how people can still mess up when you cook the same things for a couple of weeks.

 

Agents of SHIELD - ABC: This was a such good show that I simply lost track of. I stuck by for the first 3 seasons but it kept being moved and eventually I just watched other things. The finale was long, a little cheesy, but I liked how everything was wrapped up, involved your typical Marvel Easter Eggs but overall a good way to end a show.

 

90 Day Fiance: Various Shows - TLC: Yeah the guilty pleasure show because everyone is just a hot mess of a train wreck.You sit there watching and you keep saying “Maybe you shouldn’t have rushed into a relationship.”

 

Get On Up - One of the Movie Channels: I woke up really early earlier in the week and this movie just started so I watched. Hot damn James Brown. I didn’t know much about James Brown other than the Living in America video but damn his life and performances were crazy. Damn good movie.

 

Chris Reads

You would think I would have finished The Boys comics by now especially since the new season is approaching but it’s still being pushed aside. No idea why (playing video games) but when I do have some time (not playing video games) I may crack open the app and read.

 

Pickups:

Nothing really. I went to Target looking for recent CDs but nothing.

 

Game wise there are a couple of games I might want to get. Steam currently has Lego Movie 2 for I think $6. Microsoft is selling Forza Horizon 3 for $10, the Deluxe for $20, and the Season pass for $10. Apparently the Deluxe doesn’t have everything and I would still have to spend $30 for some Mountain and Hot Wheels level. We’ll see if I get any of them. The Forza one is going on for a month while Lego is just the weekend.
