I love the way enemies will taunt you before fighting in Shadow of Mordor. They'll remember you too if you've fought them before. But, I still haven't gotten through any of them.

So I finished my breakfast sandwich and I found that if I wrap it the opposite way (having the ends of the paper towel meet on the bottom instead of the top) the cheese at the top doesn’t get hard. Real life mod I tell ya. I’m going to type most of this up before I head off to Target to look for G.I. Joe’s for my 4 month old nephew. He won’t play with these toys for at least 6 or 7 years but at least they’ll be ready.
Chris Plays…
Shadow Of Mordor - Steam: In continuing my journey through the Steam library of games I hoarded but haven’t played, I jumped on this game on Saturday. I want to say I am maybe 30-40% finished and so far it isn’t bad. I’m not into the Lord of the Rings Universe so the enemies, places, and other goodies don’t get me excited for it but I do like the Prince of Persia meets God Of War gameplay/plot. I think there is only one section of land that I haven’t ventured to, and opened with one of the glowing towers (no idea what they are called but I can fast travel to each one.) I like doing the head popping move to the ugly bald monsters.
NFS Hot Pursuit - Steam: One night I was trying to log into Heat but the damn thing was taking forever and I just wanted to race so Hot Pursuit it is. Since the hard drive the original was on, got wiped I am starting over so it’s a new game to me and I am enjoying rediscovering this racer.
NBA 2K20 - Steam/Switch: It was $5 each, I said why not.
PC: It runs like hot garbage. I had to drop the resolution down to my old tube monitor from college, and do the priority thing that I do on Madden and the game is still trash. It stutters, the loading screen video is just a green mess, and when I can play it lags. I literally set fire to $5 by buying this game.
Switch: Runs like a freaking dream compared to PC. Graphics aren’t the best but who cares I am playing portable mode, and my created team the Las Vegas Flamingos are fun. As for my created team these are the logos
And these are the team uniforms
I have them playing in the T-Mobile Arena on the strip. This is the home of the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL.
Avengers Beta - Steam: I tried this game last night on the recommendation of my cousin. It plays like your typical Super Hero game where you have a regular attack and a heavy attack. In the beta you jump around to the different members of the Avengers. I only played this level, and I am saving the other levels for later. It’s a decent beta, and comes in around 20 GB.
World Series Of Poker - PSP Emulator Android: Remember my little Android tablet I bought to read books while out and about? Well I charged it up, while I was waiting for someone at the doctor’s office I sat in the medical building’s cafe, and played some video game poker (I also had a Frap. It’s an unbranded Starbucks.) Back to video game poker. I played in a WSOP event and survived Day 1. I am in Day 2 and I am behind the stack leader by like 20k. I only saved 3 three times so I am doing pretty darn good. I’m not playing every hand so at least there’s some strategy now.
I think that’s all I played this past week. I thought there would be more. Anyways it is currently 1:11pm Pacific and I did go out for a couple of hours to look for G.I. Joes. I came home with 2, and my brother wants a set for himself now so I’ll be on the lookout. Anyways have a good week!
That’s all for now, more later!
