I tried writing this over the weekend but each time I would get stuck, thought there was no real focus, and I just didn’t like them, so here we are on a Monday and I have some game stuff to talk about and I have the stuff I want to share from the pickup portion of the Quick Hits. That is one long sentence. Anyways we’re going to stop with the long sentences and go…

 

let’s get started.

 

Game Stuff:

Madden 20 (Frosty Editor) - Origin: So I decided to dip my toe and then jump in head first in creating new uniforms in Madden. After watching videos and scouring the internets I was lost, but slowly I started piecing information together and started making progress. First it was the color of the jersey

And then I decided to give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a makeover. I did a helmet makeover, and jersey but I couldn’t get the numbers to change. Finally I copied the number info from a previous uniform and that got rid of the horrible alarm clock numbers

 

but it wasn’t Pirate-y enough for me. After stumbling on some info on how to actually change the fonts I hit the internets again, found a font I liked and then proceeded to tweak it and finally

 

got something I like. The font has some motion, I added a gradient because why go with the typical numbers? I figured out that the Buccaneers have I believe 10 jersey tops, 3 helmets, and 8 pants (?). Also there was like 8 socks as well so it will be fun to create a whole new uniform set. I decided to split it down the middle and have 4 of my new jerseys, and 4 of a re-imagined Bucco Bruce jerseys (the 1970s-early 90s orange jerseys). I started working on it last night, I’ll load it into my test file and see what needs to be changed.

 

In other gaming, who is paying for this?

 

in Marvel’s Puzzle Quest this was the “offer” for today. Hell for $75 you can buy a full game on a console, or a ton of bundled games on PC.

 

Quick Hits!

Pickups:

 

A couple of weeks ago I bought this game for $32 at Walmart and it came with the Edge (wrestler) pre-order code, and a QR code for a card to use in the WWE SuperCard mobile game. Remember when I was obsessed with this game for over a year? Spent a whooping zero dollars.

 

I found this Starter Pack at Ross for $14. I bought the PS4 set along with some other goodies for over $100 and now I got a 360 starter pack mainly for the pad for less than one of the character packs.

 

From Fanatical I got this bundle for $4

 

I bought it for Dirt 4 and GRID 2019. The other games are bonuses and they’re sitting in my Steam account.

 

Movies/Music

Don’t you hate it when a song gets stuck in your head? It happened and after listening to it on Spotify I decided to own a copy until a physical album is released. I still don’t know what he’s saying but I do hit the “Baby” part.

 

From the Dollar Tree I decided to look through their movies and I found some good ones for a buck

 

I need to either hook up my Blu-ray player or just watch them on the PS4.

 

Toys

From Treasure Hunt (store that sells returns/overstock from Target, Macy’s and Kohl’s) I found a stack of these ships from the Starlink game for I believe I paid $2.

 

I thought it was the ship you can scan and use in game but nope it’s just a wooden model

 

A cool model, but a model.

 

While at Treasure Hunt I added two WWE Battle Packs to my small collection of wrestlers (I own one Triple H, one Ric Flair, four Alexa Bliss’, and a Trish Stratus)

 

It’s some people to use to beat up when my nephew gets older.

 

From Target I found these in a dump bin

 

Adam West Batmobile, and the other car from the Fast and Furious Cartoon on Netflix.

 

Final purchases are from the 99 Cent Only Store. They’re from the Oyo Blind Bags

 

I got two Yadier Molina’s (Cardinals), Bryce Harper (Nationals), Kris Bryant (Cubs), Mookie Betts (Red Sox), and Andrew McClutchen (Pirates). Funny thing is years ago I bought a couple of blind boxes from Target and pulled two McClutchen figures.
