I played a few hours of Just Cause 4. It was fun but I didn't like the design of the overworld map. I found it hard to navigate. Also, the missions seemed to confuse me. Eh, maybe I was low on Mountain Dew and Cheetos.
Sucking Is The Other Half Of The Battle

Good morning Pixlpeeps! I have some time after breakfast and before a phone call meeting so let’s do a quick recap of some of the games I may have been playing. Spoiler: there really isn’t that many games I’ve been playing, hell I spent more time installing a couple that playing.
What I’ve Installed
Just Cause 4 - PS4: It took a whooping 7 hours or so to get this game onto the external hard drive. And after I did, I read a comic book, and then fell asleep.
Steep: Winter Games Edition - PS4: Another 7 hour marathon. This one I started a lot earlier, and I did have time to play it last night, but instead I watched some TV.
Seriously why is it 56k modem slow to get the PS4 to install? If the games are going to be huge on PS5 it’ll take days to get a game downloaded BEFORE the day one update. This is just insane.
What I’ve Played
Let’s talk about the non Madden games here:
GI Joe Operation Blackout - Switch: I’m underwhelmed by it. Sure its supposed to be a 3rd pereson shooter and I’ve only played the first level, but having one or two bad guy AI’s run at you during a fire fight just isn’t the crazy battles I thought we could be getting from a game based off a toy that primarily battles each other. Weird spots on the map to take cover, looking for odd health packets that are not evenly distributed and the mid level boss battles where it’s you vs the other guy running in circles either shooting or trying to blow up each other is not fun. Throw in the terrible drifting joy-con and yeah there was a lot of choice words flying. I’ll finish the dang game because I spent $40 but I’m not happy about it.
WWE Battlegrounds - Switch: I’m still trying to unlock Alexa Bliss. That’s basically where I am at within Story Mode. Honestly I haven’t touched the game in a couple of weeks. I’ll probably give it a spin this weekend.
Moddin’ With Madden
So I’ve been doing uniforms because hell it’s just fun, and well the new Franchise with the Tennessee Titans started off strong winning the Super Bowl, than last season the team was hit with the force of a big rig when it came to injuries and they were bounced from the first round of the playoffs. This season they well suck, and started off 0-2, currently they are 6-3 with a rookie QB who tends to sail the ball over receiver’s heads.
So I figured out (Thanks YouTube!) how to change the field and yeah you already know the kind of trouble I’m getting into.
Ok so I thought Boise has a blue field, why can’t the Titans have a light blue field. Yeah it was a little hard on the eyes and I had to stop playing because I was starting to get a headache. After a little tinkering and going back to something more normal I found a look I liked
I kept the Greek Key, and the massive midfield logo and then surrounded that with an even bigger logo that looks like it was cut into the grass. I also added the Greek Key to break up a plain end zone because why stay with a plain end zone. I’m thinking later on I might even go a little more crazy with the end zones but for now we will stick with these.
So that’s what I’ve been up to. I also had my phone meeting in the middle of this bloggity blog so I should be good. Anyways I am off, have a good week!
That’s all for now, more later!
