I really liked the Mario Galaxy games but I got stuck somewhere in each of them that made me stop. It's always some timed jumping thing that I fail several times that gets my goat.
It's A Mario Time!

This was one of my Christmas presents, but just got to it recently. Needless to say, when I powered it up I went straight to Mario Galaxy, one of my favorite games. I hope to get to the others eventually.
First of all, this game can be really disorienting at first with the weird perspectives, gravity, and tilting surfaces. I hadn't gamed for a long time, so that probably added to it. But I'm getting used to it.
I am also getting used to the motion controls. I HATE motion controls. But they're integrated okay into this version, and I'm not minding them too much. But I wish they were completely absent.
Mario Galaxy is an amazing game. And while Nintendo could have upgraded the graphics more, it looks ok, and the colors are vibrant. It's a damn shame Galaxy 2 isn't included here, but maybe Nintendo has a trick up its sleeve. I hope.
