I haven’t blogged this week because real life kicked in, and right now this is the escape I need even for a short time. My phone is telling me that there is going to be rain, yet when I ask Siri, and the Google Assistant there is no rain. I look out the window and the sun is out but California Cold. Let’s talk games for a bit.

 

It’s still Forza Horizon time for me. I unlocked two or three more garages which is nice. Extra cars never hurt but in reality I only use two: A Subaru for off road races, and a Nissan for street races. I tried the Lambo for a bit but went back to the Nissan. I have a soft spot for Nissan. I’ve taken out more billboards but I found a couple that were on top of buildings and a train car. The one on top of a church is crazy. I figured there was some sort of ramp behind the houses and I looked for an entrance but couldn’t find it so I asked my trusty friend Google and two clicks later and a YouTube video told me how. I may tackle this later on today.

I tried a red sign event (no idea what they’re called) and they’re challenging. The first one I tackled I needed two tries and that was the off road vehicle vs a train. The one I can’t seem to get a handle on is the Rally car vs. Motorcycles. I always come up a second too slow. At one point I tried to ram the motorcycle. Winning dirty is winning, right? We’ll try it again later on.

 

I’ve been wanting to use my little portable emulator but haven’t got around to charging the phone. The controller I use is ready but I just need to take this step. I kinda want to dive into some DS games and I know the easy thing to do is just fire up the 3DS. Maybe that’ll be a weekend thing. Other than that I’ve been playing Solitaire, and my daily Disney Emoji Blitz.
