Hey, man, giant bees would be pretty terrifying.

Game: Titus the Fox: To Marrakech and Back (Amiga, Atari ST, MS-DOS, GB, GBC/1992)
Mascot for: Titus Interactive
Developed by the French developer Titus Interactive, this mascot platformer was released as Lagaf: Les Adventures de Moktar in 1991 and was ported to other regions in 1992 as Titus the Fox: To Marrakech and Back. Titus' girlfriend Suzy has been kidnapped (groan), so he sets off to get her back. The game has a whopping 15 levels. Titus will have to avoid dogs, construction workers, giant bees, and other terrifying monsters (I'm kidding). Titus can throw certain objects as well as pick up walking enemies from behind and throw them.
What happened: Unfortunately, the game received mostly negative reviews upon release. The game isn't infamously bad like Bubsy, but it's also not good enough to garner any kind of cult following. So it's a "meh" game, and those are the worst kind. Titus Interactive isn't the best developer either; if you recall, they are responsible for making the infamously awful Superman game on N64 (yes, that one).
