Since I figured today was a holiday I would take a morning nap…3 hours after I got up. Odd, yes, but either way I took the nap. Here I am and I am ready to update you good people on things I’ve been playing.

Chris Plays…

Pocket City - Windows: I have one city rolling so I figure why not start the sister city, turn it into the Dubai of my little world, and be the cash cow for the other cities. It’s nothing but farmland and banks and the main city. The other city I am going to create eventually will be nothing but logging. I’m keeping my original town as environmentally clean as possible. I’m still not tired of this game.

 

Madden 20 - PC (Origin): I finished off two seasons with the Detroit Lions. In the first season I was trying to lead the Lions to 3 straight Super Bowl titles and in the NFC Title Game the Lions blew a 14 point lead and ultimately lost to the Dallas Cowboys by 3. The next season was redemption time, and the offense was rolling people. I had two WR and a TE each go over 1,000 yards, my RB rush for over 1,000, and my QB passed for over 4,000. They faced the Cowboys again in the NFC Title Game, and were up 28-17 at halftime at home, just to lose again. Talk about heartbreaking.

In the offseason the Lions were used by Free Agent Fletcher Cox to increase his salary with Philly. My hopes to land a heavy hitter on the DLine failed. Everyone on the offensive side of the ball is in their late 20s, and my running back is starting to either fumble or get injured with greater frequency. I’m going to hold onto him for this season to see if the teams fortunes can change or if it’s time to start replacing players.

 

I’m also playing Solitaire, Disney Emoji Blitz, and I’ve toyed with firing up the Switch and playing something. I already updated it, and funny thing is when I wanted to use the money code from the last WWE pay per view in their video game I couldn’t find the game. I thought I left in Las Vegas during the holiday but turns out I put the game in another game’s case. I really need to buy a bigger card holder for Switch games.

 

I’ve also stopped playing Forza Horizon. I just lost interest. It’s a good game and most likely I’ll need to eventually just spend the $50 and buy the damn game. If it was a Steam game you know the code would be like $5 during the summer sale, but since it’s through Microsoft it’s still the same price as a physical copy.
