Ok I had my breakfast while watching WandaVision and I am now ready to type up this week’s Quick Hits….at least I think I am ready. We’ll see how far I get until I either finish this, or get sidetracked with a “quick” game of Pocket City (I’m playing on Hardcore or Extreme, whatever they call their crazy mode and I figured out I’ve been playing all wrong in previous cities.) Let’s get started!

 

Chris Watches…

WandaVision - Disney+: This might be the best show on TV. There I said it. It started off really slow but as the story started to gain some traction each episode has been better than the previous and I can’t wait to see what happens next. Thank goodness this show was released every week instead of Netflix’s here is all of it, be excited for a week or two and then move on.

 

I’ve been throwing off my YouTube algorithm because this past week I’ve been into watching Life on various military ships. Coast Guard has really nice ships, and then I watched one video on a Navy ship and the bathroom was legit disgusting. Guy was talking about here there is always one clogged toilet, showed it (I look away because DISGUSTING!), showed how the showers aren’t really clean and then said imagine the boat rocking, you taking a shower, trying not to touch the walls, and having the dirty toilet water on the floor. After finishing this I’ll probably go back to YouTube and see watch videos on what people bring with them on Deployment. I find it interesting.

 

Chris Listens To…

On my album a day goal I believe I hit the number of albums for the number of days in February goal already so now I’m just trying to pad stats. Currently I’m re-listening to Duran Duran’s Greatest Hits so I can rate the songs in my FLAC library so if/when I make a copy in either MP3 or AAC it’ll be rated, grouped and ready to go.

In my MP3 library I’m still adding my old iTunes stuff to it and I found some old podcasts and I was listening to Bill Simmons and Adam Carolla review Fast Five. A hilarious 2 hours.

 

Chris Reads…

I have a three book rotation, well two books. The audiobook is really dense for a 3 hour listen so I might (WILL) start over just to understand what the hell I am listening to. As for my books I didn’t read yesterday morning, or last night because Pocket City. Tonight I will get in some page time because it’s a Bourne book.

 

Pickups!

I visited Walgreens to buy replacement heads for my toothbrush and some razors because facial hair with a mask is not fun. I also got a box of N95s so I have that mask protection. This time last year I was talking about buying random toys and here I am talking masks. Crazy.

No games or toys but I almost bought the Walgreen’s Exclusive Alexa Bliss Elite figure because it’s been sitting there for years. I really don’t need it because I have one already.
