Good evening Pixlpeeps! Ok so I had some work stuff today, and it went faster than expected but after that I took a crazy nap because my body is catching up on some lost sleep. For some odd reason I’ve been waking up at 5am, going back to sleep at 6am and finally hitting my alarm when it goes off at 7:12am. Odd week. Anyways it’s late yet here I am writing about the past week’s stuff.

 

Chris Watches…

Since I’ve signed up for Discovery+ and Paramount+ it has been nothing but The Challenge at breakfast and lunch, and then random 90 Day Fiance on Discovery+. At night it’s still YouTube with random Deployment Videos and Day in the Life vids. I had a crazy dream where I worked on a flight deck on an aircraft carrier and I had to land the planes and had no idea. I also got lost trying to get to the flight deck.

 

Chris Reads…

I think I’m saving all my reading for a late season push towards the end of 2021. Either that or it’s a lazy year. One or the other.

 

Chris Listens To…

I’ve been enjoying my music collection and rediscovering songs I either liked and forgot or didn’t care for, but going back to the CD years later it just clicks. I’ve also been listening to a lot of DMX since his passing. X was a big part of my soundtrack in college. Didn’t want to go to class? Throw on X to get you pumped. Angry? Throw on X to be even more angry…but with a beat. I had a lot of mix CDs with one or two X songs.

 

Pickups

Games: I don’t think I bought any games this week. I thought about one, closed the window and then saw the shortcut on my desktop. Apparently I own it.

Music Stuff: I bought another 4TB drive to add to my Musicbee FLAC library. Thank goodness my MP3/AAC drive still has a lot of space. I’d like to have another drive where I just load it up with songs I would take with me whenever I travel.

Since I bought that extra hard drive the hub I’ve been using doesn’t have enough power to run two external drives so I bought a USB hub that plugs into a wall to be powered. Now it powers both drives with no problem, my keyboard, and it has designated ports to charge my phone. Not bad.

 

Those are all the toys I bought this week.

 

Alright Pixlpeeps I have about a half hour or so before I call it a night and I’m starting to watch DJ’s spin an hour of 90s Hip Hop on YouTube. Hopefully I will have a dream where I’m a DJ and I have no idea how to operate the 1’s and 2’s. Have a good night Pixlpeeps, I’ll be on tomorrow morning catching up.
