Yeah Half Genie Hero's not my favorite, but there hasn't been a bad Shantae game yet! I really like the original and PIrate's Curse.

Games Beaten
-Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Switch)
Half-Genie Hero is not my favorite Shantae but is still very good. I miss the lush pixel art of Pirate's Curse but the new graphics look great and the controls are as tight and responsive as ever. This game has fewer levels with a bigger focus on going back to hunt for secrets (some story-related). Not my fave but I appreciate that WayForward tries different things rather than making the same game again and again. Plus there are a ton of unique modes included with the Ultimate Edition that change up the base game drastically, like Ninja Mode (pictured above) and Beach Mode. It's a full package.
*Dragon's Crown Pro (PS4)*
While I considered this already beaten (I played through the original release with my wife on the PS3), I went for the Platinum with some friends online and finally got it. What are we moving onto next? Stayed tuned!
Games Bought
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (Switch). *mic drop*
Games Being Played
-Picross S2 (Switch)
I'm down to, like, two and half pages of normal puzzles left. Not sure offhand how many that actually is but it's about 3/4 done.
-Sakura Wars (PS4)
I'm in the final chapter, though I'm planning to go back and get all the character endings. I'm mostly here for the story and characters, after all.
-Destiny 2 (PS4)
There's a new season with a new excuse to shoot bad guys lol. There's a new six-player PvE mode, though, that's pretty fun.
-Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (Switch)
Yes, we've started this monstrously huge game and I'm sure we'll be playing it for a loooong time. But without arbitrary trophies to chase, we'll be able to stop once the actual content runs out.
