Goodbye 1up, Hello Pixlbit

I recently logged on 1up to see that 1up is ending. Crazy to see a site that I used from 2004-2007 suddenly end its course on the internet. My first profile on 1up and my 2nd profile on 1up. I wrote my departure blog on 1up and soon discover many former 1uppers on Pixlbit. I decided to join them and register for Pixlbit today (5/10/13). I joined a previous site called Foxkei (another 1up refugee site) back in 2010ish, but only used the site a few times since then. I can easily blame my usage of Facebook during 2007 til now, but I won't. I feel I need to write about video games again and I truly miss it. I still think about the great days on 1up and still read an old blog post I wrote when I was younger once in awhile. That's why I am on here now.

Now that I am here, I feel the need to write about video games again. I am currently in the middle of Gears of War 3. I bought the game back in 2011 and started playing towards the end of 2012. The real world has clearly taking over my gaming, but I slowly regaining my gaming time back again. I truly miss gaming and I do enjoy a game with a great storyline like Uncharted 2. That's why I am playing Gears of War 3, but I will talk about the game in another blog.

I feel like this blog is a closing of one book and an opening of another. Let's just say this blog is my epilogue with 1up and my prologue to Pixlbit. I look forward to using this site and will try to use it to it's full potential.

Glad to have a fellow 1upper back were like family here and personally i like this site better cause for one thing Nick and the rest of the staff cater to us and im not use to that so welcome and im following you so,look forward to your blogs.

Welcome! I know a lot of people get really involved with Facebook. Consumes a lot of time,I am sure. To me this site is Facebook,but for gamers. We talk about all sorts of stuff,but the focus is usually games or game related stuff. Look forward to reading your thoughts and opinions on a variety of topics.
