Hey I'm sorry guys, I haven't posted in almost a month. I've been working like a maniac on my writing, and I've been doing little else - not even playing games! But I keep on thinking about that game Tyranny I was telling you about.
The other night I got bad food poisoning. At first I thought it might be COVID, but then I remembered the dubious looking salami that I snacked on earlier. It was horrible. Long night. But I'm better now other than a dull ache.
My sort of quest to beat Tales of Zestiria and Berseria before Tales of Arise's release seems a little ridiculous now...
I hope you are all well. I'm ready for summer to be over. I'm sick of the heat.

I've been going through a period of having little to no time for writing. It's tough with kids!
I wanted to play through some Metroid games leading up to Dread's release (Zero Mission, M2, Super, and Fusion) but I've had to cut that down to be realistic 
I've never REALLY submerged myself in a Metroid game. I've tried, but the time has never been right.
I'm terrified of food poisoning. If I have it once from someplace, I'm done there. I will not risk it a second time.
It was rough, man. 
I hope you're doing better from that food poisoning. And don't worry about beating the Tales games before Arise, might as well wait to see if it gets decent reviews haha.
ha ha. Yeah. At least it has fishing! 
I'm debating on getting Tales of Arise now or waiting until I get a PS5 to play it on. If they had a Switch version I'd be all over that.
Last time I got food poisoning was at the Arby's near my house, which is an old Arby's that's been there since the 60s and still has the old school signage. I didn't eat at Arby's for a long time after that until I was like, "I'm so hungry I could eat at Arby's!"
I'm actually a little sad summer is over. I didn't really get to do much summery stuff this year. No beaches, very little swimming, and no trips to anyplace except Oklahoma to deal with my parents.
I'm not sad about it. The cooler days have me ecstatic. It was a rough summer, and wearing the mask again in this heat....
