Picked up The Witcher for 5 Bucks

I was in the Goodwill store today poking around for used games and I found a copy of the Witcher complete with the 78 page manual in mint condition for a fiver and no tax because they're a charity.

After installing it I checked for updates and am currently upgrading to the enhanced edition for free.

Well we all know me and PC games but I'm going to give it a shot. The last PC game I tried to play was Darksiders II but it runs so badly on my laptop I didn't get far.

I paid double that when I picked up The Witcher at Target. I always forget to check the Goodwill for games.

Oh ok its PC if you got a 360 version for five bucks i would be mad cause i paid twentfive with my power up card it list at gamestop for $27.99 and being for pc its $20.00 @ gamestop you got a good deal there my freind.

Lucky find! I wish I could find games like that in Goodwill. the most I found for that game was the enhanced edition in a wal-mart bargin bin for 15.

Mine was the regular edition but once installed when I checked for updates I got patch 1.4 which upgraded me to the enhanced edition.

It doesn't run very well on my laptop with my 256 meg video card but it runs fine on my desktop PC which has a 1GB video card.

Anyway I was really pleased to find it. I need to be checking the Goodwill and another thrift shop called Value Village more often. Mostly it's old sports, racing and casual games but every once in a while you find something good.
