Pitch: Shoot, kick, jump, and fly your way through waves of terrorists.
Thunder Fox came out in 1990 but it is all '80s action cheese, as you can clearly see from the muscled shirtless dude you play as. It's also not great. Your dude moves at a decent clip, which I appreciate, but you start with just a knife...and an overpowered jump kick. You can pick up weapons on the way but they are limited in ammo. The levels are filled with enemy fodder that die with one hit but the game is stiff enough that it's hard to avoid attacks. You will be pumping the quarters into this one for sure but not because it's so fun. There are some nice touches, like needing to escape the level after destroying the engine of the enemy air fortress but the rest of the game just isn't worth it.
