When I played this game on the Legends disc, I was annoyed with how many characters could attack you at once. It was crazy. So yeah, not one of the better beat 'em ups out there. I do remember seeing this game at quite a few arcades back in the day, though.

Pitch: Wipe out an army of evil poachers and protect the wild animals!
Brawlers tend to get stuck in ruts, thematically, like urban settings or high fantasy. So when I saw that this game tasked you with fighting an army of evil poachers, I was intrigued. Man, what a weird game! Unfortunately, it's also not a great game. First of all, I don't like the feel of the gameplay. Your character does not feel responsive and your attacks are very bland. You can pick up weapons like knives, swords, and guns but the game can be finicky about whether or not you're lined up just right to actually pick something up. And while it is impressive how many enemies the game throws on screen—they weren't kidding about this being an army!—it's a flood of identical bad guys. And the different enemy types that the game does have are just a bizarre collection. Middle East oil shieks rubbing shoulders with African warlords and what look to be low-class Dickens-era English factory workers. But the strangest of all are the hot women in short dresses that pull grenades out of their bodices. Like, what?? I'm fine with weird stuff but at the end of the day, the game just wasn't that much fun. There are better brawlers in this collection.
